BAGKGROUND/RATTONATE 1,fl[,0fl).00 Barangay Maniboc is one of the costal barangays of Lingayen, it is located north-west of the municipality just 1 to 2 kilometers away from the town proper. Fishing and Farming is the most livelihood of the barangay folks. Bagoong is the most commonly product in this barangay which was considered as the One Town One Product (OTOP) of the municipality. Most of the fish species caught is being process into salted fish commonly called bagoong, other fishes is being dried fresh and salted and process into boneless bagoong, fish sauce and patis and alamang making is also done in this barangay. Aside from fishing, residents are also engaged in aquaculture and most of the species cultured are bangus or milk fish, prawn and Malaga. They are also engaged in livestocks and crops production. Most of the products are sold in the local market some others are marketed to other municipalities and provinces. Some bagoong and by products is being exported in other countries that makes Lingayen is the most famous in bagoong making due to its quality oroducts. Production, processing, marketing and trading of produced is hampered by unimproved farm to market road, and other production and post harvest facilities. Construction of FMR and other facilities has a great effect to increase the production and maintain the quality of the produced. The Municipal Government of Lingayen and other agencies in response to thus current situations, has been initiating programs and projects that would alleviate its people from poverty and deprivation. One of this program is the agricultural production enhancement, construction of FMR which aims to improve productivity and income of the fisherfolks and farmers and households thru crop production, aquaculture and livestock-raising thru provision of technical assistance and other production support sources. OBJECTIVES: GENERAT 1. To ease the transport and marketing of the produced from the production area to the trading 2. center/market. To enable the fisherfolks and farmers improve their productivity due to lesser damage of produced. To develop market and support mechanism for fisherfolks and farmers. Municipal Treasurer PROJECTSUSTAII{ABIIITY: To ensure the sustainability of the project, the fisherfloks and the farmers of barangay Maniboc, shall organized and register the fisherfolks and farmers organization to empower the barangay folks of Maniboc. In order to avail more benefits that can be derived from the government and non-government agencies. XIII. PROJECT OUTCOME: The project helps in the transport/marketing of produced damage of the produced. it also improves productivity and minimized lt helps developed market and support mechanism and empowers the members of fisherfolks and farmers association especially in the promotion of improve production technologies among stake holders in agri fishery sector, and it enhances support from government and non-government agencies. Farm to Marker Road boosts the agricultural productivity and profitability which contributes for food security and sufficiency, and help in the upleftment of the living condition of the fisherfloks and farmers in the locality. XIV, RISK MAI{AGEMENT The Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management council (LDRRMC) and the Local Government units of Lingayen thru the Municlpal Engineering office (MEo) shall over see the Risk Reduction and Management of the project.
