PROCEDURE 1. Three classes of animals are judged by competitors, each class consisting of a different breed. If cattle available provide for only one or two classes, competition may still be conducted with appropriate adjustment to scoring. 2. Animals in each class must be identified by “breastplates ” numbered 1-4, (not A,B,C,D) with relevant age, weights and measurements on them (if available). This is essential when using the Hormel Computing Slide. 3. The oral class of 4 animals will be nominated by the Overjudge or Chief Steward before judging commences. COMPETITION TIMING From the point of view of the competitors, the animals and the spectators, it is important that the whole competition be completed in approximately one hour. In the case of 3 classes of animals being used, the timing would be as follows: • Judging 3 classes • Competitors’ oral tests - 8 minutes each - 3 minutes each 32 t-BSHF"OJNBM)FBMUI/VUSJUJPO t4BEEMFSZ t)PSTF'FFE4VQQMFNFOUT t)PNF*SSJHBUJPO t1FU3FRVJSFNFOUT t1PVMUSZ/FFET t8BUFS5SBOTGFS t5BOLT t5SBEJUJPOBM&MFDUSJD'FODJOH t'FSUJMJTFS4FFE t%PH'PPE COOMA RURAL SUPPLIES YOUR ONE STOP DRIVE-THRU SHOP 1' $PNNJTTJPOFS4USFFU$00." 33 Service One Members Banking Dalgety Show RURAL ACHIEVER AWARD The 4th Annual Dalgety Show Society’s Rural Achiever Award is being held again this year.
