•Anyone who will be in 6th through
12th grades for the 2014-2015 school
year OR
anyone ages 12-17.
•This means that if you are 11 and will
be entering 6th grade in the fall you
can enter both the Children’s AND the
Teen Summer Reading Programs.
•By filling out a form at any Charleston
County Library and placing it in the box.
•By filling out a form at www.ccpl.org.
•You may turn in entries from June 1August 10, 2014.
•You can turn in forms at any branch, but
must choose the same branch (at the
bottom of the form) on every form.

•Magazines
•Emails
•Graphic Novels & Comics
•Billboards
•Internet Pages
•Books
•Audio books
•Anything with words
•First Entry- McDonald’s coupon for
small fries or an ice cream cone (your
choice)
•500 pages read-McDonald’s coupon
for a value meal, a summer reading tshirt, a ticket to the Riverdogs game in
August, and an entry to win the grand
prize
•Each Charleston County Branch will have a
different Grand Prize (valued at $50).
•The prize for the Dorchester Road Branch
will be a $50 gift card to Tanger Outlets.
•Those who have read 500 pages or more
will be entered to win the Grand Prize at their
chosen branch.
•The drawing will occur at the end of the
summer reading program and all winners will
be notified by Saturday, August 30, 2014.
•There will be bi-weekly prize
drawings on June 13, June 27, July 11,
July 25, and August 8.
•Prizes will be gift cards to local
businesses or attractions worth
at least $10.
•You must enter each week to have a
chance to win that week’s drawing.
•Spark a Reaction Survey
1) You may fill out a Spark
a Reaction survey once a
day at any branch to
receive an Airhead.
•Book on Downtown
1)This is for all ages and runs June 1-30.
2)Participants will receive a scorecard at any
CCPL branch then follow the map (scorecard)
to 30 different locations in Downtown
Charleston to find Book on Downtown posters
about scientists and inventors and write down
their names.
•Book on Downtown (continued)
3) Scorecards can be turned in at any CCPL
branch.
4) After all scorecards are collected one lucky
winner will be randomly selected from among
the entries with the most correct answers and
will receive $100 cash!
5) Other prizes (to be announced) that are
donated by businesses will also be rewarded.
