photo if we have to acquire it, whichever is greater, for
each photo placed in the ad, no discounts. Copy ready
ads are accepted and will receive a 15% discount off
the base rate.
COLOR
Standard second color (spot color) is available at an
additional $75 per ad. The standard color is selected
by the editor for each issue. Contact editor for availability and pricing on non-standard color options. Full color
is available at an additional $200 per ad.
CONTRACTS
Ad space may be contracted on a yearly basis for an
additional 10% discount. Discount applies to ad space
only. Ads must be placed in three consecutive issues
and paid in full at the time the first ad is placed, no limitations on ad size. Additional charges for photos, extra
artwork, and special effects are not subject to contract
discount and will be billed separately.
Only those animals who have been officially christened
and fees paid to the American Southdown Breeders’
Association will be allowed to be “named” in this publication. The ASBA will bill advertisers who use nonchristened names for the christening rights.
The American Southdown Breeders’ Association and
The American Southdown Journal reserve the right to
reject any advertising or copy that may be objectionable. The ASBA and The Journal assume no responsibility for the accuracy and truthfulness of submitted
advertising containing pedigrees or statements regarding performance, or for the accuracy of any photographs supplied by other than its own staff. Advertisers
shall indemnify and hold harmless the ASBA and The
Journal for any claims concerning advertising content
as submitted.
