YOU COULD WIN A CHILD’S BIKE!
■ register your scarecrow and get a
pole assignment at the hollow Bistro,
10641 main st. by september 18th or
send name, address & phone number
to: [email protected].
■ starting saturday, september 21st,
scarecrows should be attached to
black light posts along main street
using plastic zip ties or rope. NO
TAPE PLEASE!
■ your scarecrow needs to face in
the direction of oncoming traffic.
■ scarecrows must be made in good
taste and constructed to withstand the
weather.
■ you will need to maintain your
scarecrow while it is on display.
■ the festival committee has the
right to remove any scarecrow that is
inappropriate or in disrepair.
■ your scarecrow may relate to your
business, but there cannot be any
direct adVertisinG per nysdot
regulations.
■ all scarecrows must be removed by
friday, november 2nd.
■ scarecrow makinG workshops: if you need help making your
scarecrow, bring your own supplies or
purchase a “scarecrow kit” at the
farmers’ market for $20 on sat. 9/21
and sat. 9/27 from 9am -12 noon.
