Two Facilities One Purpose Your Health, Your OIC OIC Family Medical Center OIC Family Medical Center is a federally funded FQHC commonly referred to as a Community Health Center. This status change occurred in June 2012 following years of preparation to qualify for this distinction. This new status promises a brighter healthcare future for Rocky Mount residents. As an FQHC, we are entitled to apply for a variety of new programs to help our citizens get a full array of services at very affordable rates. OIC meets the health needs of the community by providing comprehensive, quality, and affordable healthcare to uninsured and underserved populations through our Family Medical Center (FMC). The opportunity to develop an on-going relationship with our providers and our medical team encourages patients to take advantage of early detection and healthy lifestyle changes. Please do not hesitate to ask how we can better serve your health care needs in the future. In addition to serving MAHC clients with intake, counseling, and screening services, the CPS team provides door to door outreach services and information about various health concerns including: Sexually Transmitted Diseases Diabetes Hypertension Asthma Cancer Our CPS team also informs community members about programming opportunities at the Community Health Education Center (CHEC).
