Vermeer once again solidifies itself as a world
leader in stump-cutting equipment. With a focus
on ease-of-operation, the compact design of the
SC30TX offers intuitive controls, minimal service
points and the performance of a machine that
gets the job done.
Key points of interest include a 27 hp (20.1 kW)
gas Kohler electronic fuel-injected (EFI) engine
that is easier to start and helps lower the cost
of operation when compared to conventional
carbureted gas engines. The hydrostatic ground
drive and hydraulic cutter wheel drive eliminates
belts and pulleys reducing maintenance time
and cost. Other features include an operator
presence handle design which provides
additional capacitance sensing capability.
Two individually controlled tracks allow a
zero-turning radius increasing maneuverability
on confined jobsites.

1: The AutoSweep® system (optional)
monitors engine speed and automatically
adjusts cutter wheel sweep rate. This feature
is designed to reduce engine, drivetrain and
structural stress.

2: A modified operator presence handle
design is now manufactured with a harder
exterior to improve wear and appearance and
an improved user-friendly system to help protect
the operator.
3: Longest tracks in class provide consistent
stability and easier loading and unloading of
the machine when compared to shorter tracked
models. The longer tracks also offer the lowest
ground-bearing pressure in its class.
