Learning Center as a Foster
Grandparent. Polly was a lady
of varied talents and hobbies
and never stopped being
interested in new things. In lieu

Foundation in memory of
Polly Armstrong or in honor
of her granddaughter, Keri
Welker, a recent organ recipient.

Annette Luttrell Armstrong
passed away peacefully at home
in Clarksville, Montgomery
County, Tennessee, on the
evening of November 27,
2015, surrounded by her
daughter, son-in-law, and her
grandchildren. Mrs. Armstrong
was born in Flintville, Lincoln
County, Tennessee, on April
7, 1924, to Roy Raymond
and Hallie Agness Rogers
Luttrell. Polly grew up and
went to school in Flintville
and lived there until moving
to Clarksville after 1995. She
married John L. Armstrong on
February 6, 1943, and became
the mother of two daughters,
Dianne and Wanda, and a son,
Jackie. Polly was predeceased by
her husband, John, in 1989, her
daughter, Dianne Armstrong
Childress in 1994, and her
son, Jackie M. Armstrong in
1984. She was also predeceased
by her parents and infant
siblings, James David, Juanita,
and Geneva Luttrell; brothers,
Larry, Clifford (Sammy), Dewey
D., Floyd C. and Ray Luttrell;
and sisters, Mary Kratzer and
Bernice Strope. Mrs. Armstrong
is survived by her daughter,
Wanda and son-in-law, Bill
Welker; grandchildren, Eric
Childress, Anne Armstrong
Black, Keri Welker, Michael
(Jaime) Welker; and great
grandchildren, Haley, Alison &
Lillian Welker. Mrs. Armstrong
was a Christian and a member
