System, an automatic snare engagement

To disengage the snares, simply

Challenger Bass Drums
The deepest, cleanest, most resonant, and powerful way to drive a drum line. Like
all Challenger Series drums, Challenger Bass Drums have shells made of six-ply rock
maple and American whitewood, cross- laminated for strength, and precision diemolded for perfect roundness and uniformity. The standard 12 one-piece Challenger
long lugs are self-aligning for maximum tension distribution and hard-chromed for
extra beauty and durability. The all-wood hoops, formed to a perfect fit, are finished
in high-gloss black lacquer and secured by extra-heavy chromed steel claw hooks
and rods. Each Challenger Bass Drum is supplied with mallets and choice of carrier
or sling. Sizes range from 14" x 18" to 16" x 32". Please specify color code after model
number: (F)=White, (G)=Black, (H)=Red, (6)=Mirrored Chrome, (45)=Brushed
Silver, (46)=Brushed Gold.

Challenger Multi-Toms
Challenger Power-Cut Multi-Toms feature lightweight, high-strength four-ply rock
maple and American whitewood shells with the new “Hi-Torque” Stabilizing Ring.
Diagonally cut for more projection and less weight, each Power-Cut tom features
a custom-fit polished aluminum trim ring to protect bottom edge from chipping
and delamination. Classic lugs and triple flanged hoops are standard. Ludwig Vest
carrier offers adjustment, dependable drum support, and exceptional freedom of
movement. Sold with your choice of Omni, or Vest-type carrier.

Ludwig Marching Carriers
Featuring the newly designed 6700 & 5700 Series Vest and Omni-T carriers.
Ludwig carrier choices include form-fitted aluminum Vest models, and lightweight
Omni aluminum shoulder carriers. Vest models are now aluminum with adjustable
“J” hooks for comfort and stability. The flip-up feature relieves back fatigue. Vest
carriers may be worn under or over the uniform. The new Omni carriers are made of
light weight aluminum, but built to be strong and competitively priced.
Both the Omni and Vest type carriers feature Ludwig’s J-arm hook up system.
The system is completely adjustable and has thick dense foam lined shoulder
and stomach pads for comfort. The Omni-Rail for Multi-tom carriers offer easy
positioning, flexible and adjustable J-arms with swivel bracket attachments.
Bass drum carriers feature an inverted J bumper system with hooks and straps,
supporting the drum for the top of the carrier.
