Benefiting disadvantaged youth served by Living Classrooms Foundation
WHAT: The best annual special event on the DC waterfront celebrating and supporting
the important work of Living Classrooms Foundation.
WHEN: Friday, October 16, 2015 - 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: DC waterfront near Nationals Stadium in Washington, DC
COST:
Tickets are $110 per person in advance, and $120 per person at the door.
Reserved tables of 10 are available for $2,000.
GREAT FOOD - catered by over 30 of DC’s favorite restaurants and caterers,
accompanied by beer, wine, special liquor samples, soft drinks, and a cash bar.
GREAT SOUNDS – Night at The Yards always has awesome music and this year will be
no exception! Music by Dympstaphunk, one of the funkiest bands to arise from New
Orleans and opening act, Queen Beez! Queen Beez is a Living Classrooms program that
that allows young girls to uplift and express themselves through song and dance.
GREAT CROWD and AMBIANCE and SILENT AUCTION - over 800 guests attend
Night at The Yards. Come in casual, festive attire and enjoy a pleasant evening under the
stars with a great view of the river. Auction includes fabulous items to bid on.
GREAT CAUSE – Night at The Yards is a benefit in support of the innovative hands-on
education and job-training programs provided by Living Classrooms Foundation. Living
Classrooms works primarily with youth and young adults living in high-risk environments
in the Washington, DC and Baltimore
areas. Living Classrooms gives youth the
skills needed to turn their lives around,
continue their education, and achieve
success in the workplace.

The proceeds generated by this event support Living Classrooms’ hands-on education and jobtraining programs. Living Classrooms makes every effort to produce this event each year with
minimal expense. With the help of volunteers, and donations of food, beverages, auction items,
tenting, stage, equipment, advertising, invitation design and printing, and much more, we are
able to use funds raised to directly support our important programs and help individuals in need.
