Input devices
Databac’s range of data input devices is suitable for capturing photos, card data, signatures,
fingerprints and other biometric data. These devices can be used with the Dataimage photo
ID system and are compatible with most other photo ID software on the market. All
equipment carries CE or similar approvals and is supplied complete with user manuals and
connecting cables. Databac also offers on-site maintenance on request.

The Quickcam USB web cam works with

For high-security applications, our range of biometric input devices will capture fingerprint, palm
and even vein pattern images. For small- to medium-sized businesses, basic fingerprint scanners
such as the DigitalPersona (pictured right) offers a surprisingly affordable entry into biometric

Resin ribbons print directly to the card surface,
ideal for placing text and barcodes onto pre-printed

Dye-sub ribbons are used for full-colour printing of all

Teslin is a high-grade synthetic material which comes in A4 sheets with
perforations for four or eight credit card-sized cards. Databac can pre-print
the background, leaving the user to overprint the photo and data using an
inkjet or laser printer (please specify when ordering). Once printed, the
cards are laminated to produce a durable, high-quality badge.
Visitor pass inserts
The Databac in-house printing division can produce customised visitor
inserts, pre-printed with a company logo and background colour, together
with Health & Safety requirements on the reverse, for personalisation by
the user with an inkjet or other office printer.
