09
When using Dicor pre-cut roofing kits the EPDM sheet is
unrolled onto the clean roof deck. Prior to applying the
bonding adhesive in order to verify proper length and
width of the roof kit.
10
The EPDM sheet is pulled back or booked to expose the
front half of the roof deck.

11
The front half of the roof is ready for the Dicor adhesive
to be applied.
12
The adhesive is evenly spread over the complete roof
surface. At a rate of 160 square feet per gallon.

13
Inspection of the coverage should occur prior to re-rolling
the EPDM sheet.
14
The EPDM sheet is rolled forward to eliminate trapping
air, or dragging glue forward, that might occur if it was
pulled forward.

15
The rear half of the roof deck EPDM is then booked, as
was done on the front half.
16
The rear half of the roof deck is then ready to apply the
proper amount of adhesive.

17
After the EPDM is placed on the adhesive, a squeegee is used to lightly
push the rubber from the middle of the unit to the front end and the rear.
This will provide tight EPDM over the roof seams and a smooth surface.
Caution should be used to prevent pushing the adhesive around under
the rubber.
18
All wrinkles are moved to the rear.

19
These wrinkles are worked to the rear evenly.
20
Once the rear is completed, the same process is done on
the front half.

25
The flaps are pulled down, stapled, and the excess
EPDM is trimmed.
26
The roller should be primed in a roller tray to load it with
adhesive before it is used to spread the adhesive on the
roof deck.

27
The 28oz of glue applied to the 4x8 sheet of decking will
provide a 10 to 11 mil coating of the adhesive when
distributed evenly.
28
This shows an even distribution of adhesive on the roof
deck prior to the placement of the EPDM sheet.

29
When the EPDM is lifted back, there should be an even
coating on the back of the sheet with all areas coated.
30
A broom may also be used to brush down the EPDM onto
the roof deck.

31
When completed, a hand print should be slightly visible
if pressed onto the EPDM sheet. As the adhesive dries
the print will disappear.
