Management of fare system and sales
Since 1st April 1999 – 2 federal states – 1 Fare System
Our philosophy: transparency and justice
Variety of tickets:
Standard price
(based on zones – not on effective distances
or modes of transportation)
Tariff valid for one day
(One way ticket, Day ticket, group ticket)
Tariff valid for longer period
(7-day ticket, monthly ticket, annual ticket, ,
environment-friendly ticket “Umweltkarte”)
Tariff valid for selective customer groups
(“VBB-Abo 65plus“ – the standing order ticket for
seniors, “mobility ticket” for socially deprived people,
term ticket for students, VBB-leisure-ticket for pupils,
8/9/10 a.m.-ticket)
