Sample their beans and learn about the craft of specialty coffee and chocolate making. After your morning caffeine and sugar charge, take a tour with many of any of our local tour companies offering a taste of Portland's famous food cart scene at various food cart pods located throughout the city. PORTLAND TO NEWPORT Day 2: Start your day with breakfast at your hotel or stop and grab a snack at one of the many food trucks across the city. Travel to Tillamook which is home of the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Sample a variety of cheeses, enjoy ice cream and browse the gift shop. Time to whet your pallet at Pelican Brew Pub. Situated right on the beach as you sample some of Oregon’s finest microbrews while enjoying a late lunch with a view. Take advantage of tax-free shopping at Lincoln City Factory Stores. Enter the charming coastal town of Newport and check-in to your hotel before heading to a special dinner experience at Rogue Brewer’s on the Bay. Enjoy a brewery tour, sample microbrews and fresh seafood. End the evening with a specially arranged bonfire and s’mores on the beach. You’ll taste your way through culinary hot spots to enjoy the best of Portland, continue on to beer, seafood and creameries along the Oregon Coast and then head inland to California. Next head to the downtown area of Coos Bay for beer tasting at 7 Devils Brewery, you’ll meet with the brewer and sample from their favorite selection. Next stop, lunch in picturesque downtown Bandon, where over 50 stores and restaurants sit in a walkable downtown area. Wander in and out of the shops but do make Coastal Mist one of your stops for a unique chocolate tasting experience. Before leaving Bandon, you’ll stop at the award winning Face Rock Creamery for cheese and ice cream tastings and a tour with the cheesemaker. You’ll continue south on one of the most picturesque areas of Hwy 101, save time to pull off in Port Orford for amazing photos ops at Battle Rock. You’ll end the day with beer samples at Arch Rock Brewery and dinner next door at one of our favorite locals pubs in Gold Beach. GOLD BEACH TO MEDFORD (OR EUREKA) Day 5: Rise and Shine! You’ve got another beautiful day ahead; after breakfast at your hotel you’ll travel to the mighty Redwood Forest to take in these majestic sites. From here, you can continue to California on Hwy 101 or head inland for more great food opportunities. In Medford you’ll stop at the Rogue Creamery to sample this internationally recognized creamery and continue on to downtown Medford to experience their burgeoning food scene.
