This year has been flying past’ Many new and exciting things are happening in the model horse world. We hope you plan
on coming to the West Coast Model Horse Collectors Jamboree... we’ve worked hard to arrange this extravaganza. Mark
your calenders, July 18th!! See you in Ontario at the Red Lion Inn. We will be hosting this show, as well as having the
teal live horse NIGHT VISION there for you to meet on Friday night. Her and her mother are featured this month on the
TV show HORSEWORLD. NIGHT DECK will miss this show since she will be with this year’s baby gelding, RECURRING
DREAM, at the Appaloosa National Horse Show in Columbus, OH on July 1-11. Do to hectic plans during July, please be
patient for your order. After the Nationals, Jamboree, and all, we will be closed the last week of July for vacation. Call our
24 hr HOTLINE rot exact dates and mote up to date information.
Model-wise, from Breyer.. ..they anticipate delivery of the Icelandic porcelain in September. We will be taking orders
closer to the delivery date...and we will not be undersold! We will offer a special offer on this model, so stay tuned and
wait to order yours from us...you won’t be sorry!
Hartland representatives will be on hand to tell you the latest from their company...it is under new ownership and lots of
goodies will be let out of the bag at the Jamboree. BHR is planning a Hartland special run Lady Jewel & Jade set closet
to Christmas... .the limited number sets will be sold to previous customers on a priority basis (out best customers get first
shot at aquiring them). Stay tuned for more information.
Hagen-Renaker will have the new large mini Shetl2nds available at the Jamboree. They will also be debuting the Fall line
up.
Alas, North Light America is no longer furnishing the US dealers with North Light product. A conflict has put an end to
their distributing and any future orders will have to come directly from the UK. This is very expensive so after we are sold
out of the North Light we have in stock, we will not be carrying them.
From American Artists: a NEW horse! I personally have s/n 7 of 1500 of the new Secretariat with Ron Turcott up. He is
super! He is standing in the winners circle with a blanket of white roses and a smiling Ron Turcott. He was sculpted by
Rene Rushing (who did the American Artist John Henry & .Alysheba). Call for current price (same price as the Alysheba &
Chris McCarron). He is NICE!
From the real horse barn here.., our foal crop this year was outstanding. First we had a grey TB colt by our stallion, T’s
Pop Too born on Jan 20. He is now a gelding and should be at least 16.1 when mature. A very prety headed colt, if
someone is looking for a pretty show horse, come see him, he is for sale. On Jan 27, (my birthday), our World Champion
Broodmare Night Deck foaled a solid black colt by Dreamfinder (World & National Ch. Appaloosa Stallion). He is a
gelding now, named Recurring Dream & will debut July 9th at the Nationals. The day after he was born, our black TB
mare Fotina foaled a dark bay filly by Dreamfinder. She has regular colored papers, with small darker spots on her
rump, frost on the top of her rump, and all the Appaloosa characteristics. She is named Share The Dream. Our last foal
was born in Missouri at Crown Center Farms, where his daddy Dreamfinder stands at stud. March 30 was our lucky
day...our black Appy mare Ms. Sonny Dee Goer foaled a stud colt the spittin’ image of his dad! (Shown above). His name
is Pleasant Dreams. He will be home in July, so come say hi if you’re in the area.

This set features the likeness of the two BHR Appaloosas, Night Deck and her 1991 filly, Night Vision. In 1990, Night Deck was the Reserve
World Champion Non-Pro Mare. In 1991, she went on to win the World Championship in Broodmares. Her first foal, Night Visic’n, sired by
World & National Champion Stallion, Dream finder, was born in January 1991. She went on to become the Reserve National Champion
Weanling Filly in July, and in November won the World Champion Weanling Filly class in Ft. Worth, Texas. This was at the same show her
mother won her World Champion title..., the first time a mother-daughter were World Champions at the same show!
The model set consists of Night Deck as a solid black with left hind sock Lady Phase mold. The Night Vision model uses the Standing Stock
Foal model in a shaded dark bay, 2 hind socks, striped front hooves, and diluted white spots over the entire body.. .a new color pattern for
Breyer models, never seen before!Only 1500 sets were made, and available ONLY at BHR. Each set is numbered, with a certificate of
ownership included with each set. To save models from being rubbed, they are not factory boxed. They will come plastic bagged, with
bubblewrapping. The set will be available after June 10. You may order your set now. Please note, prior BHR customers will be given first
priority in the event of the demand exceeding the supply. This set will be featured in our June television ad on HORSE WORLD, so see it in color

NEW IN BOX MODELS: we offer free checking of the model for box rubs before shipping,
bubblewrapping for protection, and discarding the original box. If you would like this service
however....YOU MUST SPECIFIY ON THE ORDER FORM THAT YOU WANT THIS SERVICE!
We assume otherwise that you want the model as it comes from the factory in sealed boxes.
Since we have no way of telling the condition of the other side of the model, if you want it in
original boxes, we assume no returns for box rubbed models. We advise the free inspection on all
new in box Breyer models, since they are prone to yellow box rubs. Since the Breyer boxes
weigh more, if you have us discard the box, you may use the UPS rate for 1 less model (orders
over 2 models ONLY).
USED/DISCONTINUED MODELS: Our models are shipped with a non-reusable inventory
control tag, marked by BHR. Removal of this tag voids all returns! If you are not satisfied with the
model, do not remove this tag! We have had people return to us models that were purchased
elsewhere, so for this reason we tag our models.
ON ALL ITEMS: We must be notified before returning any item! Do not ship to our
Shadow Hills address! We have a warehouse in Riverside, CA where all shipping and
recieving is done. It you have a valid return, call or write. We will send information on
return addresses. If your item was damaged in shipment, KEEP ALL PACKING MATERIAL

BHR has purchased the entire limited run of 50
pieces of this Traditional scale Mule. No two are
painted alike! Each model hand finished by the
sculptor, and painted at her descretion. We have a
waiting list going for each color available. When
your name is next on the list for whatever color
you want, we will call to verify that you want that
color. It will be drop shipped from Linda Lima’s
studio directly to you. You may chose from the
following standard colors: black & silver,
chestnut, bay, palomino/buckskin/dun; grey/white.
Specialty colors will be done after all regular
orders are filled, and will quoted on an individual
basis (aprox. $20.00 higher for pintos & Appaloosa
colors, paid directly to Linda Lima). Price for
regular Mule is $200.00 each plus $10.00 shipping.
Please note, Mule colors can be different than
horse colors (bay, black, & chestnuts have
“mealy” points, lighter color than body color).

13’HR will be hosting a live show like class to be held at the 1993 West Coast
Model Horse Collector’s Jamboree. L3HR will be supplying the models to be used
at discount prices for all entrants. Here’s what you need to do:
The model to be used witl be the Hartland Lady Jewel & Jade set of mare & foaL
There will be a class for:
PROFESSIONAL REMAKER: a person who has themself sold more than
5OO.OO worth of repainted or remade models.
NON-PRO REMAKER: less than 5OO. worth of sales, or does it only for
themselves.
NOVICE EMAKER: person may not have won a championship at a LIVE
show at any time.
REPAINT ONLY: OPEN (pros & non-pros combined)
To enter this competition, you must sign up at the time of purchase of
the unpainted Lady Jewel & Jade sets. You may purchase a set for 12.5O plus
UPS. Enter as many as you want, SUT, here’s the catch.... you have to send us
the actual models to enter the Jamboree classes..., and all sets will be
auctioned for charity at the Jamboree. When you send us your auction /show
piece, you will receive FREE from SHR, another unpainted set. The artist may
place a proxy bid on their pieces, if they are unable to attend. What you win: The
first place winner of each class will receive 5 sets of Lady Jewel & Jade, FREE.

This set features the likeness of the two BHR Appaloosas, Night Deck and her 199 1 filly, Night Vision. In 1990, Night Deck was the Reserve
World Champion Non-Pro Mare. In 1991, she went on to wL the World Cha,r,pionship in &rc,.]rnares. Her fit5t foal, Night Vision, ircd by
World & National Champion Stallion, Dreamfinder, was born in January 1991. She went on to become the Reserve National Champion
Weanhing Filly in July, and in November won the World Champion Weanhing Filly class in Ft. Worth, Texas. This was at the same show her
mother won her World Champion title..., the first time a motherdaughter were World Champions at the same show!
The model set consists of Night Deck as a solid black with left hind sock Lady Phase mold. The Night Vision model uses the Standing Stock
Foal model in a shaded dark bay, 2 hind socks, striped front hooves, and diluted white spots over the entire body.., a new color pattern for
Breyer models, never seen before!Only 1500 sets were made, and available ONLY at BHR. Each set is numbered, with a certificate of
ownership included with each set. To save models from being rubbed, they are not factory boxed. They will come plastic bagged, with

1993 will be our 7th Open House & signing party. We have
had from 250- 400 people attend this event in the past,
making it one the largest model horse events of the year. For
those of you that have attended in the past, we look forward to
seeing you again. For the new people attending, we look
forward to meeting you and your family. The BHR collection
will be available for viewing at this time. This collection
features over 4,000 models of all types on display in our
collection building. This year will probably be the last time we
will host an open house of this sort in southern California.
Plans are underway to move to our ranch property in Minden,
Nevada in the Fall of 1993. Once moved, we will have our
Open Houses from the new ranch (aprox. 1 hour south of
Reno). Other than a informal get together after this year’s
Jamboree in August, the collection will not be available for
viewing until moved.
This years Open House will again have tours of the real
horses. See Night Deck (who should be due to foal about this
àate) and her 2 year old daughter, Night Vision, who will be
getting ready for the 1993 Appaloosa Nationals in Western
Pleasure. Both will be on hand for photos of yourself with the
models of these 2 horses and the real ones! The models will
be available for sale at the open house.
