Bright red lips were seen everywhere on the runways last season but it’s the neon shades
that rule the catwalks this season (as seen on the models at DVF and Jill Saunder).
This look has instant face brightening effects and is great for giving sluggish winter skin a
little boost. Liz McCarthy gives a step by step guide to achieving the look.

1. Prime the skin with MAC strobe cream. Next apply Chanel
Vitalumiere Aqua foundation spf 15. This light as air foundation
gives a fresh radiant look to the skin.
2. Apply a little Bobbi Brown Eye Brightener under the eye.

4. Bronzer is back. This is great for brightening your face and
giving you that sunbuffed glow. With your bronzer brush apply
MAC’s golden bronzer across the cheeks and extend it on to
your temples, across the forehead and down the centre of the
face. Try and imagine where the sun would hit your face first.

3. Next define the brows and apply MAC Naked Lunch eye
shadow all over the lids.This is a subtle shade but has a sheen
which will give you that youthful glimmer.
Blend a little MAC soft brown eyeshadow in the socket and
then apply Dior’s new 360 mascara.
5. Next line the lips with YSL’s Rouge Pur Couture no.3 lip liner
followed by YSL lipstick in colour no. 7 from the same range.
To ensure that the colour won’t bleed and disturb your perfect
edges apply foundation along the outside of the lip line.
