Tips and Tricks - Goosebumps HorrorLand Video Game
Tips & Tricks to get out alive...maybe! • Stop by the information booth when you first enter the park in Carnival of Screams for important park info—and a special gift! • Don’t let the little girl distract you in Monster Mash. If you hit her, you’ll lose points! • In Bumper Carnage, the red, yellow and green lights on the cars reflect the lives each car has. Every time you hit a car, a light will turn off. • Once you’ve unlocked Vampire Village, you can always go back to Carnival of Screams to play games and earn more Frights in addition to playing the games in Vampire Village. • Vampire Village is centrally located in the park. You can access the other 4 park areas— Carnival of Screams, Mad Labs, Fever Swamp and Terror Tombs—from Vampire Village. • The glowing red eyes in Roller Ghoster aren’t just there to look at you! Shoot them for points! • Hit the money bags in Garlic Crusher to add to your token total. • Need a hint? Talk to the fortune teller in Carnival of Screams or Vampire Village. • Need a laugh? Pick up one of the phones in Vampire Village to hear a frightfully funny vampire joke. • In Rub-a-Dub Slug, pull the slug’s tongue to reveal 10 hidden tokens. • Talk to other kids everywhere in the park. Some of them will even sell you Monster Cards. • Look for the “Behind the Screams” feature in the One Day in HorrorLand book for clues to win the bonus Monster Card! • It’s a race to the finish in Scorpion Speedway. To pick up speed, drive over the red arrows. • To land the ball in the 20 slot in Mummy Run, shoot the ball toward the right wall to bounce the ball into the slot. • Stop by the Snack Shack in Fever Swamp for a BITE to eat! • The Scream-O-Meter measures your fear factor on rides. Keep your cool to survive the ride! Animated Blood Comic Mischief Crude Humor Mild Fantasy Violence © 2008 Scholastic Inc.
