and powerful LED grow lights. Emerald Glow LEDs have a true full
spectrum of white light, which growing plants love. These LEDs can be used for complete replacement of florescent
T-5 fixtures or HPS/metal halide lights for inside vegging to grow
moms, clones, or any starts in a completely controlled environment.
Emerald Glow LED grow lights can also be used for greenhouse
season extension and lighting supplement to increase your
production and growth cycle. This assists your plants, especially in
the off-season and lower light conditions, to continue to grow at their
peak potential.
The LED fixtures come in two, four or eight strip, four-foot long
fixtures, which are ready to hang. The two strip fixtures can be used
more for narrow racks or general florescent fixture replacement. The 4 strip fixture, at 96 watts, and the 8 strip fixture, at 192 watts,
are viable alternates for 8 tube T-5 type fixtures (which run at 440
watts, need regular bulb replacement, and contain toxic mercury
waste). With these new LED fixtures, you will never change a bulb
again and you will lower your electric use 60% to 80% over the oldschool lighting choices.
The 4’ Emerald Glow LED waterproof strips run at 24 watts each,
come in a very lightweight format and run DC low voltage, with very
low amps and a separate driver that converts from 120v AC.
These LEDs are the go to for extensive inside or greenhouse
commercial installs, where you need coverage for a bigger space and
the low voltage feature means you can run several of these safely with
light-gauge wire, as well as one driver to run 4-10 strips. You can
easily do a variety of hanging or install setups with these.
The color rendering spec of 96 is the best yet for these LED chips,
and at 5000K color temp, is ideal lighting for healthy plant growth. Lastly, efficiency and low wattage draws of Emerald Glow LEDs
allows for the capability to run them on a small solar power setup if
you are off-grid or have no convenient power locations at your
