We offer nothing but the best entertainers for our Residents during Happy Hour. So we would like to extend our
appreciations to our weekly entertainers, Lois, Gil, Helen, and of course Michael Quest for the monthly birthday
bash!
We are now in the last summer month of the year! Let’s welcome September with 2 big events by celebrating
Kensington Annual Family Picnic on September 17 from 10:00am till 2:00pm, and Kensington Spirit Week from
Sept 19th through Sept 23rd. is is a 5-day fun-filled event full of surprises from all the team members, and we
encourage you to join us.
Kensington Club Highlights
Hello from the Kensington Club! What an exciting
month we had in August. We started off with a bang
and attended the Irving Berlin Musical at the Pasadena
Playhouse and sang along to some of America’s great
songs. Craving something sweet, we took a trip to
Frisco’s Carhop and flashed back to the 50’s with
servers on roller skates, classic cars, and of course old
fashioned milkshakes. Later in the month we hopped
aboard the Mickey and Friends Tram and headed into
Downtown Disney for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe
and some window shopping. As always were keeping
are minds sharp, our bodies moving, and our faces
smiling!
e Kensington Club would like to challenge you with
a little riddle to we were working during the month of
August. Come check out the K-Club if you think you
know the answer!

getting shorter. Time to dig out your

in the park. Fall is upon us again! It’ll
be time for football and anksgiving turkeys before you know it! I hope you can
take some time out and enjoy the season. I am looking forward to our second fall
here at the Kensington .We will be having our spirit week with our amazing
Kensington team from September 19th- 23rd! Each day the team will dress up
with a different theme, and you will get to pick out your favorite cotumes! So
here is to the fall and celebrating the Kensington spirit!

It’s time once more for our Annual Kensington Picnic in the Park! is year’s
theme will be “Kensington Olympics”. Family, friends, and residents are all invited
to Memorial Park, which is conveniently locatedright across the street from the
Kensington, where we will celebrate another wonderful year! We will be
competing in a pool noodle joust, beach ball bowling, equestrian with giant dice,
and so much more! See you there!
