Mare Nostrum is the ideal location for a Thalassotherapy & Spa Centre
that has revived the tradition of ancient greek baths, combined with the
beneficial effects of the sea, well-known for its therapeutic qualities.

equipment and the french know-how result in anti-stress, reinvigoration and

The entire Mare Nostrum Thalassotherapy team is dedicated to provide every guest with superior service,
whether it is for deep relaxation and anti-stress, slimming, beauty, or total pampering. Each program is always

“AMFITRITI” AREA
This is the main area & attraction of the Thalassotherapy Centre, and
includes a large indoor heated seawater swimming pool with various
features such as jets, whirlpools and separate jacuzzi areas.
“NEREIDES” AREA
This is the area where the more specialised aquatic treatments take
place in our 15 individual hydrotherapy suites. Treatments include
affusion shower, seaweed application & wrap, bubbling bath, jets
bath and column shower.
“OLYMPION” AREA
Here you will find our fully equipped fitness centre, along with
showers, sauna and hammam (steam room).
“APHRODITE” AREA
This is our beauty & relaxation area. We have 6 massage suites
where you can indulge and relax in the hands of our skilled massage
therapists (offering general massage, lymphatic massage, reflexology,
shiatsu, pressotherapy and more). In addition, we have 3 beauty rooms
where you can pamper yourself with facials, facial lymph drainage,
facial skin tonic, bust treatment, back treatment, full-body treatment,
cryotherapy, hand-foot care treatment, waxing, and much more.
We also offer professional make-up and other hair & beauty treatments.
BUSINESS & EVENTS
We offer full conference, business and banqueting facilities and services,
providing you with the latest audiovisual technology, as well as outdoor

HISTORICAL & LOCAL INFORMATION
Artemis of Vravrona was dedicated to goddess Artemis, protector of hunters, animals and people’s safe
birth. Being enraged from the killing of two small female bears, she caused an epidemic in Athens. She then
asked an oracle to tell Athenians that all local girls aged 5-10 years should devote their lives to her. Athenians
obeyed her command and brought all girls to her temple, where they spend big period of their childhood
serving her and participating in celebrations organized in there. The girls were called arkti (bears). The
celebrations in honor of the goddess were called Vravronia and included music events, sports and poetry.
