QuoTrek, a handheld, wireless device delivering real-time, streaming quotes
and news was introduced back in 1983 and is now called Interactive Data
Mobile. The original QuoTrek was used by more than 50,000 traders and
executives who wanted access to real-time data. After the proliferation of
Internet-capable portable devices powerful enough to handle real-time,
streaming data, we re-introduced QuoTrek as a software application available
on the BlackBerry, iPhone and other mobile devices.
Today, QuoTrek has a new name: Interactive Data Mobile.

Because Interactive Data Mobile is a Java J2ME application and Android
does not support J2ME out of the box, you’ll need to have Android J2ME
Runner installed first. Android J2ME Runner is a bridge between Android and
the J2ME world. J2ME Runner from Netmite is available from the Google
Android Market for free. We have plans to make Interactive Data Mobile
available on the Google Market app store in the future.

OSI-Compatible Options
Options Symbology Initiative (OSI) is an initiative from the U.S. Options
Clearing Corp. and the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corp. to change the
symbology used for U.S.- and Canadian-listed options. Interactive Data
Mobile 3.0.10 has built into it support for options symbology according to the
OSI (between 17 and 21 characters).
