This past Sunday, Daybrook Fisheries celebrated the opening of the 2015
fishing season with its annual Blessing of the Fleet. For 25 years, Daybrook
has been proud to call Plaquemines Parish home.
Starting out in our old Empire pogey plant, Daybrook has grown its
operations into a state-of-the-art processing facility employing more than
350 from around the region. Today, Daybrook Fisheries' Gulf Menhaden
fish oil and fishmeal products are used in aquaculture, pet food, and animal
feeds around the world. We believe it's Daybrook's dedicated workforce
and our shared commitment to quality that has given it a competitive edge.
