Thank you for your interest and
support of Community Health
Centers of Arkansas and our
member Community Health
Center (CHC) organizations across
the state.
We are pleased to share our 2015
annual report showcasing a bit
of the activities from our collaborations. We sincerely appreciate
the efforts of the community health center staffs, our CHCA Board
of Directors and all of the partners who help improve the health
outcomes across Arkansas.
We are committed to ensuring equal access to affordable, quality,
comprehensive primary and preventative healthcare for all Arkansans
and believe this was achieved in 2015. We remain steadfast in our
resolve to constantly improve each year, as together we strive for zero
disparity in healthcare access in Arkansas.
We celebrated a banner year for community health centers in our
country, as 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the CHC movement.
There have been plenty of exciting times over the past half century,
and we are very optimistic of our trajectory in the coming years for
CHCs and healthcare in our great state.
In 2015, many accomplishments were enjoyed, including our
CHCs being recognized by the Health Resources and Services
Administration for high levels of excellent performance in quality,
access and value. Overall, our CHCs were awarded more than half
a million dollars in incentives for their work! Mainline Health
Systems was one of only 39 community health centers in the
nation recognized for the highest level of excellence. Our CHCs
achieve greatness in healthcare services for their communities,
and CHCA is proud to provide the supportive training, technical
assistance, and partner relationships needed to augment their
efforts.
As we head into the remainder of 2016, we look forward to our
continued efforts to bring the use of quality metrics into the delivery
of patient services. Patient-Centered Medical Homes is a term that is
not new to community health centers, and our collective efforts on
designing a dashboard of measures tracking our successes will be
realized soon. Stay tuned for more progress from your Community
Health Centers of Arkansas!

Snapshot of Arkansas Community Health Centers
Community Health Centers are a key strategic tool in assuring underserved areas and populations
have access to quality healthcare. Their doors are open to everyone in the communities they serve,
regardless of insurance status, household income, age, ethnicity, or health condition. The Community
Health Centers help bridge the gap for individuals who would otherwise remain isolated from health
care due to lack of insurance, inability to pay for services, as well as transportation, language, and cultural barriers. Community Health Centers of Arkansas is proud to be the voice and membership association for these centers of excellence across the state.
