Maple
T he va l ue of M a ple is it s st rengt h, wear resistance,
a nd bea uty. M a ple is a wood t hat is evenly tex t ured
wi th a natura l l uster. While t he grain is usually
stra i g ht, i t ca n also appear wav y or curly. Decora ti ve g row th patterns can be found in Maple such as,
bi rd’s-eye, m a pl e burl, l eaf and fiddle back. These
c ha ra c ter i sti c s of maple add to it s highly prized
bea uty a nd l uster.

C her r y ’s c l a ssi c , smoot h grain finish, deep rich-red
col or, a nd sta bi l it y make it an elegant choice for
f i ne ca bi netr y. St rong , st iff and moderately hard,
C her r y i s exc eptionally stable and unsurpassed in it s
f i ni shi ng qua l i ti es. A n occasional bird peck or gum

va r i ati ons oc c ur, t he stabilit y of MDF allow for routi ng a nd sha pi ng . MDF will not be stained, but it is
a n i dea l substrate for painted surfaces. This hy brid
door provi des superior paint adhesion and appeara nc e.
