any acoustic arrangement. Create your
very own sound solution from a variety
of Individual sound components.
Together with the imposing Loewe Stand
Speakers, the new Individual Sound
subwoofer Highline creates particularly
impressive sound. Its 800 W power
creates a powerful base foundation,
which is perfectly complemented by
the wide frequency range of the Stand
Speakers – transforming simple television
sound into an acoustic experience.
Starting with a 3.1 Surround solution,
the integrated speakers in the TV set
take on the role of the Center Speaker,
and using the Loewe System remote
control, you can easily select the
appropriate sound configuration for
the respective TV content at the touch
of a button, e. g. 5.1 surround sound
for feature films on DVD or stereo sound
for TV news. And for perfect radio
listening pleasure you can enjoy digital
radio programmes via the Loewe
Spheros sound system. What’s more,
with the integrated DR+ hard disk
recorder you can record programmes
with 5.1 surround sound and play them
back with full surround sound. So as
you see (and hear), Spheros is a perfect
match for any acoustic situation.

What a magnificent display.
Whether it is on the wall, on a table or
in the centre of the room: Spheros is
impressive in any position. The Cube 2
set-up solution in High Gloss Basalt or
subtly glossy Platinum offers room for
additional Loewe equipment, such as
the Viewvision DVD recorder or the
Auro audio system which, together
with its cables, is elegantly concealed
in the elements – all operated with just
one single remote control. Spheros also
features motorised rotation to become
a sculpture in the room. Other set-up
solutions are offered by the Floor Stand
4 MU with motorised rotation, or the
elegant wall-mounted option. A special
feature is the flexible Wall Mount
Flex: thanks to its large pivoting range,
Spheros can always be adjusted precisely
so that you can enjoy the best view

Individual Compose is based on a
modular concept: along with the
screen, you choose the speakers which
exactly suit your requirements. Create
your own completely personalised
sound with a completely personalised
sound and set-up solution. The solution
for purists: Sound+ 2.0 Virtual, for
example, with two Stereo Speakers
which can be attached directly to
the TV set or to the wall. These two
speakers alone create an impressively
room-filling, powerful audio experience.
Of course, you can also create different
sound configurations with Individual
Compose – from Sound+ 3.1 Surround
to Sound+ 5.1 Cinema, or even 5.1
Sound from only one device with the
Individual Sound Projector. A module
for Dolby Digital and dts sound is
already integrated in the Individual
Compose. You therefore do not
need any additional decoder in order
to enjoy perfect surround sound.
Choose from the Individual Sound
Stand Speakers, Satellite Speakers or
new Multiroom Speakers to create
the perfect combination for your
requirements. And because impressive
sound also needs resounding bass,
Loewe offers the 350 watt Individual
Sound Subwoofer or the new, powerful
800 watt Individual Sound Subwoofer
Highline. Another special item is the
Center Floor Stand I Compose, where
the Center Speaker is integrated into
the set-up solution and therefore fits
harmoniously in the overall image

options, Individual Compose also
naturally places a great deal of
importance on an impressive and
realistic picture. No matter whether
you choose a 101, 117 or 132 cm
screen diagonal – HDTV reception
comes as standard on these flat screen
TVs. Thanks to Image+ Active image
enhancement technology, high definition
images can be displayed particularly
vividly and realistically on the Full-HD
screen. The integrated USB interface
for digital cameras, USB sticks or MP3
players is another practical feature.
This can then be used to easily access
saved photos and music tracks using
the PhotoViewer and MusicBox. What’s
more, all the models are equipped

Edition owes its impressive features to
a unique combination of the utmost

materials. Ultra-pure aluminium is

of a millimetre for the surface finish in
elegant chrome. After careful polishing
in up to 20 special baths, a flawless
chrome layer is added. This makes the

There’s no need to hide the Individual
Compose: with a wide range of housing and
inset colour combinations, it is an impressive
addition to your living space. Designed
as a wall solution, Individual Compose
is supplied with the WM 54 Wall Mount
and insets in High Gloss Black. However,
there are plenty of other set-up solutions:
freestanding in the room with the Screen
Floor Stand MU with motorised rotation or
the spectacular Screen Lift Plus 1. Another
perfect solution is the Center Floor Stand I
Compose: here, the Center Speaker is

Even the housing of the Individual
Selection ensures you can’t take
your eyes off it. The anti-reflective
glass contrast filter panel has stylish
aluminium profiles bordering the top
and bottom. The contrast filter panel
covers the entire area, right to the
sides. You decide the colour of the
aluminium profiles. You can choose
from five different front colours, all
of which perfectly complement the
metal speaker grid: Aluminium Silver,
Aluminium Titanium, Aluminium
Bronze, Aluminium Black and High
Gloss Cream. But that’s just the start
of the design options. In addition to
the five front colours, there are nine
different insets available. Intensify the
puristic minimalism of the front by
selecting High Gloss Black, Metallised
Chrome or Aluminium Silver insets. Or
break up the metallic front with wood
insets made of Ebony, Rosewood or
Light Oak. Or create a light, colourful
look with insets in Ruby, Apple Green
or Orange. And what if you would
like to try something new at a later
date? No problem. The insets are easily
changed – and Individual Selection
will look just like new once again.

Sometimes it pays
to go on appearances.
Individual Selection doesn’t just
look good, it’s also full of pioneering
technology – including the richly
detailed Full-HD resolution, which
really makes the models with 40and 46-inch screen diagonals stand
out. Like the Individual 32 Selection
HD+ 100, they also feature the latest
100 Hz technology. This means brilliant
picture quality without “jumping”
and greatly improved sharpness. On
all Individual Selection models with
a screen diagonal of 80 cm or more
you can receive, show and, with the
optionally integrated DR+ hard disk
recorder, even record TV content.
Individual 26 Selection is HD ready,
meaning it can show HDTV content
with an external set-top box. Freeview
DVB-T reception is already integrated
in all Selection TVs. Razor sharp images
are therefore guaranteed. On 66, 80,
101 or 117 cm screen diagonals. And
the sound? Thanks to the patented
CRX® sound system, Individual Selection
already sounds pleasantly powerful
and rich with the integrated Stereo

Welcome to the age
of networked entertainment.
The excellent compatibility of the Loewe Connect line of
TVs begins with two digital HDMI ports with a transfer
quality never before achieved, e. g. for Blu-ray players,
DVD recorders or game consoles. You can connect your
digital camera, USB stick or MP3 player to the Loewe
Connect Media just as easily and conveniently using the
USB interface. You can then easily access photos and
music tracks stored there using the PhotoViewer and the
MusicBox. Furthermore, all Connect Media models are
equipped with the new Loewe Network Media Player.
This means that all multimedia files saved on your
computer can also be accessed. Loewe Connect features
both an Ethernet port for LAN and a WLAN interface for
wireless data transfer. And the Loewe Connect can also
be networked using a standard mains socket, using
Powerline, also known as dLAN, a method of transferring
data via the existing mains 1. Networking is that easy in
the digital age: with Loewe Connect.

With Loewe Connect you can experience a wealth
of digital content in a first-class TV format. To be
precise, with an 80, 94, or imposing 106 cm screen
diagonal. However, Loewe Connect is impressive
not only in terms of the perfect sizes available, but
also thanks to its elegant appearance. The rounded
side edges in particular give the set a simple yet
characteristic look. A total of three colour options
are available: High Gloss Black, Chrome Silver, or
High Gloss White (details on page 66). Another
real treat for the eyes is, of course, what is inside
the housing: the technology. The 32" model’s
Full-HD resolution creates impressively brilliant and
realistic HDTV images with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
With the optional DR+ hard disk recorder for all
Connect Media sets from the 32" up you can record
high quality television images whenever you want.

Art is the slimmest Loewe set ever.
What makes it unique is that its slim
design does not mean sacrificing any
features. It comes with all the convenient
features required for a first-class
home cinema experience – despite
the Art 42 SL’s slim housing profile
of just 90 mm with a screen diagonal of
106 cm. Art therefore not only displays
high-definition images in a Full-HD
resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels – but
it also features seamlessly flowing picture
transition thanks to 100Hz technology
and 24p motion picture display. The result
is greater sharpness of movement,
even during fast camera shots. Freeview
DVB-T receivers are also integrated in
the Slimline housing. The DR+ hard
disk recorder, with its generous 250
GB capacity, can also be included on

as flat as a painting on the wall, either
with the WM 57 Wall Mount or Wall

The Viewvision DR+ DVD recorder has an integrated DVB-T
receiver. This allows you to experience the pleasure of
digital television – even with older Loewe TV sets. Recording
programmes is also very easy. You simply choose what you
want to record using the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG).
Viewvision records the programme on its hard disk, and it
can then be easily archived with the integrated DVD recorder.
Viewvision DR+ DVB-T also gives you the option of recording
a programme even when the TV set is showing something
completely different. This allows you to watch two programmes
being shown at the same time, one after the other.

Films or television programmes can be easily archived with
the Viewvision DVD recorder. It even records onto a range
of different media, creating a high level of compatibility with
other devices. Of course, Viewvision also features a digital
HDMI Out port, allowing all image and sound signals to be
transferred to your TV without any loss in quality. And, to
allow you to enjoy your personal photos on a full screen,
Viewvision also has a USB port on the front panel for memory
sticks. Of course, you can also listen to your favourite songs
on CD using the TV set. Audio file or MP3 CD – Viewvision

The Viewvision DR+ hard disk recorder allows you to record
films intelligently. The 160 GB hard disk provides plenty of

Loewe Image
The HDTV future is coming and Loewe
is ready. Many Loewe models not only
meet the HD ready standard with 1,366
x 768 pixels, but their Full-HD panels
cover the whole bandwidth of the
HD signal – with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
That’s a total of more than 2,000,000
pixels. But Loewe wouldn’t be Loewe
if we didn’t give our all to improving
even these near-perfect images –
with a variety of innovative Image+
technologies that together are known
as Image+ Active. Thanks to the
multitude of image enhancement
programmes, all TV images – whether
HDTV or not – appear sharper and
richer in contrast and colour; in other
words, even more realistic. Many of
the Image+ Active technologies are
specially designed for high-definition
television images. A contrast sensor
in Image+ Contrast HD measures
the brightness levels in the room so
that high-definition TV images can
be adjusted to the current lighting
situation. The 3D comb filter in Image+
Sharpness HD produces a sharper and
finer display of structures and small
image details. And Image+ Colour
HD eliminates what are known as
cross-colour effects, which can appear
particularly when the image contains
fine patterns. Thanks to the individual
100Hz and 24p modules in some
Loewe TVs, even when portraying rapid
motion, pictures flow beautifully, are
extremely sharp and rich in detail. With
intelligent 100Hz technology the normal
image frequency of 50 images a second
is doubled to 100 per second. The
result – increased detail and improved
sharpness of movement. Loewe 100Hz
technology not only doubles the picture
frequency, it also adds interpolated
images which take into account the
time elapsed. This means that pictures
appear steadier, even when the camera
is moving quickly. This is especially
impressive during sports broadcasts and
action-packed feature films. The 24p
motion picture display is particularly
appealing to home cinema enthusiasts.
While cinema films are displayed with a
frequency of 24 pictures per second, on
television they are normally displayed
with 25 images per second. Blu-ray
films, however, can be displayed in
the original 24 picture format. This
dispenses with the need for complex
recoding, which can also affect picture
quality. Loewe‘s 24p motion picture
display increases the original frequency
of 24 pictures per second to 48 or
96 pictures to ensure a steady, smoothly
flowing picture. Loewe TV models with
24p motion picture display and the
BluTech Vision Blu-ray player therefore
offer the ideal combination for enjoying
high-definition home cinema.

Loewe Sound
Modern TV sets are increasingly flat.
Unfortunately, so is the sound they
produce. But not with Loewe. In all
Loewe TV sets, the sounding bodies in
the speakers – the sound processors –
are perfectly adjusted to the model in
question. This means that all Loewe flatscreen TVs are able to provide powerful
sound; however flat they are. This is
possible thanks to the Sound+ system,
which has a closed construction and can
produce impressive dynamics and high
acoustic pressure even in limited space.
The CRX® sound system, integrated in
many Loewe models, is a special bass
reflex system patented by Loewe. The
bass reflex tubes are not shortened, but
rather intelligently folded. This means
that the full length of the sound waves
can be maintained when space is limited,
producing impressive low frequency
sound even with a slim housing profile.
A Dolby Digital and dts module is also
integrated in many Loewe TV models.

Up to three HDMI connections provide
unrivalled data transfer from Blu-ray
players and DVD recorders, with no
loss in quality. The integrated USB port
lets you connect your digital camera
or USB memory stick – allowing you to
view your photos in large TV format,
for example. Using the Loewe Network
Mediaplayer (e. g. in all Connect Media
models) you can even access files on

How you set up your television set in
the living room is not just a question
of aesthetics. The function is just as
important. Should the set-up solution
make the TV set a special focal point in
the room, should it hide annoying cables,
should it provide space for equipment?
Working together, Loewe and the
furniture manufacturer interlübke have
developed a range of TV and audio
furniture, perfectly tailored to all Loewe
products – not only in terms of function,
but also in terms of colour and flexible
positioning. The results are functional,
yet timelessly beautiful pieces of
furniture. For example, the TV set can be
integrated in the interlübke sideboard
cube so that it can be rotated manually
or by motor up to 40 °. This ensures
that you always have the best view of
your television set – and of an attractive
piece of furniture, that can also store
several pieces of equipment. The lift
function, which allows the television set
to rise as if by magic from a sideboard, is

television to the establishing of an
environmental management system in
accordance with ISO 14001 – Loewe
protects natural resources and uses
them sparingly. Materials which
damage the environment are avoided
as far as possible in product design and
construction, and appliances are made
to be durable. Numerous integrated
features, including HDTV reception, hard
disk recorders or DVB- T/C/S reception,
