A superb all girls getaway in the majestic mountains of the Canadian Rockies with a luxurious cruise in Alaska. This womens
only tour and cruise takes you through the mountains with time to soak up the scenery, explore the walks, meeting local
foodies and artists, shopping and always time for a coffee. The Alaskan cruise is onboard the newly refurbished Noordam
a spacious and elegant cruise liner where you are welcomed as an honored friend. This unique tour and cruise is a wonderful
way to enjoy the Canadian and Alaskan hospitality and get to adventure in a very special part of the world
Day 1 - Arrive in to Calgary
Day 2 - Calgary to Banff (B, L)
Arrival transfer into Calgary with your first night
accommodation at the historic Fairmont Palliser
Hotel. After settling in you are invited to join a 1.5
hour orientation walking tour with our tour guide.6pm
Casual Reception in then evening for a welcome drink
and a true Calgary greeting (White Hat Ceremony)
Tour guide is on hand for dinner suggestions.
A morning stop in the vibrant neighbourhood of
Inglewood before we head across the Prairies and
have our first look at the formidable Rockies. A
progressive lunch in Canmore, this is a great way to
get a taste of the town. Afternoon arrival into Banff
and time to explore.

Day 3 - Banff (Lake Louise) (B, L, D)
Day 4 - Jasper (B, L, D)
After breakfast we drive to the gondola at Lake
Louise, this journey has lots of wildlife and you will
enjoy the scenic ascend by gondola or open chairlift
to some amazing views. Later we enjoy a leisurely high
tea in the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise
that overlooks the stunning Lake. In the afternoon
you have time for further exploring in Banff, before
we meet for a regionally inspired dinner in a local
restaurant.
An early start into the Icefield’s Parkway and a walk
onto the Famous Athabasca Glacier, the scenery
along the way is breathtaking at every corner, We
stop at Sunwupta falls for a walk and a picnic lunch.
Afternoon arrival into the Country town of Jasper
In the evening we dine in a local restaurant with
regionally inspired food.

Day 5 - Jasper (B)
Day 6 - Emerald Lake (B, L, D)
After breakfast we go wildlife spotting in the area
and walk around a scenic lake. In the afternoon you
have a chance to take a river float for a different
perspective from the river (optional). Or the chance
to ride in a Harley Motorbike (sidecar) Afternoon at
leisure to browse the shops.
We make a visit to the Athabasca Falls and Peyto
Lodge for lunch at Num-Ti-Jah Lodge which was the
home of a legendary mountain guide Jimmy Simpson, it
was a fur trading post and played a significant role in
establishing barter and trade markets with Europe. It
is a beautiful wooden lodge set on Bow Lake where you
will enjoy an picturesque lunch. Your accommodation
tonite is around Emerald Lake, enjoy a walk around
the lake before a leisurely dinner and then a campfire
stop for a traditional smores (Canadian Style) Your
accommodation also has its own fireplace in the room
and it is stacked and ready to light.
Chateau Jasper - 1 night
Emerald Lake Lodge - 1 night
Day 7 - Quaaout Lodge (B,D)
Day 8 - Vancouver (B)
Drive today into the First Nations community of the
Little Shuswap Indian Band around the Little Shuswup
Lake. You will meet some of the Little Shuswup Band
as they show you around their special property at
the Quaaout Indian Lodge and they will share with
you more about the area and their way of life. This
evenings dinner is a traditional “Chicken or Salmon”
Clay baked dinner.
Passing the Cascade mountains and driving down the
Coquihalla Highway we head towards Vancouver and
take in a stop in the country music capital of Canada
Merrit, there are dozens of bronzed handprints
of the music stars scattered around the city. We
stop here for lunch in a cute little local bakery for
some handmade home baking run by a mother and
daughter. As we arrive into the harbour city of
Vancouver we pass through the reinvented Gastown
and tour through the beautiful Stanley Park. Your
accommodation is situated right on the water and
walking distance to all.

Day 9 - Alaskan Cruise (B, D)
Morning at leisure in the early afternoon board the luxurious
Noordam, settle in and unpack. At 5pm the cruise departs
the beautiful harbour city of Vancouver and heads into the
captivating scenery of Alaska.
Day 10 - Tracey Arm (B, L, D)
Cruise into the spectacular fjord of Tracy Arm and continue
on for a stop in Juneau the capital city of Alaska.

Day 11 - Skagway (B, L, D)
Stopping in at the gold rush town of Skagway you can have a
chance wander in the historical area.
Day 12 - Glacier Bay (B, L, D)
Full day scenic cruising in Glacier Bay National Park, a
UNESCO World Heritage site. Incredible glaciers, forests
and icy peaks, captivating scenery of Glacier Bay.
Day 13 - Ketchikan (B, L, D)
A Full day stop in Ketchikan the salmon capital of the world, it
also has the largest collection of Totem poles.
Day 14 - Cruise (B, L, D)
Scenic cruising the Inside passage.
Day 15 - Vancouver (B)
Early in the morning disembark the ship - Travel by little ferry
for a visit to the Granville Markets. This once industrial area
under the Granville Bridge houses a huge variety of Artisans,
food markets, entertainers and restaurants. A full day is needed
to explore and makes an excellent people watching venue.
We have 4 day room use rooms at the Westin Bayshore where
you can relax and shower before your late flight back home
