defence and semi-conductor industries
Blue-Matrix has created a system of
multi layer reflective coatings for
motorcycles. The coatings consist of
multiple layers of different chemical
elements deposited onto a substrate
(motorcycle windscreen) to give specific
colour shift. By reflecting specific
wavelengths of the visible spectrum a
windscreen will appear very different
when viewed from each side.

Each product has a unique effect by reflection of
light in the visible spectrum. From the riders
position the windscreen appears to be tinted, but
from the front of the bike a bright shining mirror
effect is visible.
With single colour effects, as the observers eye
moves relative to the windscreen the colour will
remain uniform with a bright shining mirror effect
when viewed from the front of the motorcycle.
