ABOUT US
National Wood Products, Inc. opened its doors in 1984 in Salt Lake City, Utah as a lumber
distributor. We had one ’56 Hyster Forklift, a used delivery truck, 5,000 square feet of
warehouse space and 12,000 board feet of hardwood lumber. Two guys had a vision to
carve a niche into a very competitive market by being a quality- and service-oriented
hardwood distributor. Things have changed a bit since then. One thing that hasn’t
changed, is the vision to compete in strong markets by providing quality products and topnotch customer service. While National Wood Products has grown into a multi-product,
multi-location Building Products Distributor, we haven’t lost sight of how we got here and
how valuable our customers, manufacturers, and mills are to us!
National Wood Products, Inc. has been in business for over 30 years and is a subsidiary of
one of the largest hardwood conglomerates in the United States. With over $100 million in
annual revenue, our focus still isn’t to be the largest, but instead, to be the best at what we
do.
We are proud to represent some of the most highly respected hardwood lumber mills and
plywood manufacturers in North America. We have relationships built on integrity, not only
with our vendors, but also with our customers.
With locations in Southern California, Northern California, Denver and Salt Lake City we
have the western U.S. covered. Between these four locations we encompass over 500,000
square feet of indoor warehouse space, enabling us to carry the right product mix for our

STAUF Power-Mastic PUM 950
PHOTO
Power-Mastic is a proprietary urethane adhesive without
isocyanates that cause finish etching and potential health
issues. It is dual purpose, use as adhesive or as moisture
barrier up to 10#, or 88% RH. It is certified green, has zero
VOC or solvents. With a shear strength of 391 PSI it can
be used with solid and engineered hardwood flooring.
Excellent spread rates.
STAUF One Step SMP 960

This 4 in 1 Polymer based wood floor adhesive provides
moisture protection to 14#, 92% RH, sound reduction up to
72/74 STC & IIC and excellent crack suppression.
Contains zero VOC's or solvents and will not etch floor
finishes. Can be used with solid and engineered floors.
Shear strength 363 PSI.
STAUF Solva Mastic WFR 930
PHOTO
Alcohol solvent based wood floor adhesive that has fast
and strong green grab and dries quickly to speed
installation time. Easy to spread and will not etch finishes.
Can be used with engineered floors and solids up to 3"
wide. Shear strength of 682 PSI. Helps eliminate hollow
spots.

Specialized adhesive for the installation of vinyl flooring

adhesive. No VOC's, green certified, exceptional shear

Mapei Ultrabond ECO 980 - 5 Gallon

MAPEI’s 100%-solids, one-component moisture-cured
urethane adhesive, recommended for mainstream wood
floor installation. Its formulation is perfectly suited for
traditional solid wood flooring and engineered wood
flooring of all sizes. Easy to trowel, it exhibits quick grab to
hold planks in place during installation, yet it provides
enough slip time to align everything perfectly.
Mapei Ultrabond ECO 995 - 5 Gallon

MAPEI’s premium, 100%-solids, one-component, moisturecuring urethane adhesive for all types of wood flooring and
bamboo. It can be used in a single-coat application method
that provides a superior bond and moisture vapor emission
control on concrete slabs (up to 15 lbs. [6,80 kg] in MVER
or 85% relative humidity). It also provides sound-reduction
properties, making it suitable for use in multi-unit housing
project.
PAM Hot Melt HB 220 Adhesive Gun

The HB 220 has a 220 W heating element. The
mechanical stroke limitation controls the amount of
adhesive applied. The trigger is adjustable to ﬁt an
operator’s hand comfortably. It also has an integrated
on/off switch.

PAM Hot Melt Adhesive Sticks - 1 lb.

PAMTite hot melt glue sticks were formulated for a difficult
to bond surface and create a strong bond. PAMTite hot
melt is extremely popular in the flooring industry. This
unique hot melt has a 20 second open time, which allows
for placement adjustment. It's recommended that these
glue sticks are applied using the PAM HB220 glue gun.

PAM Pamtite Plus Adhesive Sticks - 1 lb.

These hot melt glue sticks offer the same speed, strength
and versatility as PAMTite. These offer a longer working
time and a greater heat/cold resistance for extreme
conditions. Great for hardwood starter rows, board
replacement, tack strips, glossy surfaces, metals, plastics,
foams and large surfaces. It's recommended that these
are applied using the PAM HB220 glue gun.
3M DP-100 Epoxy Cartridge Clear

This epoxy adhesive has a 1:1 mix ratio, a 3-5 minute work
life, and develops handling strength in approximately 15
minutes. Its low viscosity allows easy dispensing and is
ideal for filleting and potting. Packaged in convenient DuoPak cartridges designed for use with 3M EPX Applicators.

The EPX Plus II Applicator is used to dispense 3M ScotchWeld adhesives in duo-pack cartridges. The applicator is a
low-cost, portable, self contained metering, mixing and
dispensing machine that simultaneously meters and mixes

Titebond Original Glue - 1 Pint
The industry standard for woodworking. Ideal for wood,
hardboard, particle board, leather, cloth and most other
porous materials. Easy-to-use, non-toxic, cleans up with
water, develops a bond stronger than the wood itself.

System Three Square Epoxy Mixing Tip System

These mixing nozzles fit right on the tip of the cartridge for
pre-mixed dispensing of the product. They work very well
in any standard caulking gun. The cartridges can be used
without the mixing nozzle for dispensing calibrated, but
small portions of the products.
Bondzall 2000

Bondzall 2000 is a classic latex adhesive that will never
become brittle. It is formulated specifically for Engineered
flooring. Approximately 300ml (24 oz.) per each unit.
Pro Injector Urethane

The Pro Injector Urethane is an injection grade adhesive
developed for any type of flooring, (i.e. solid, engineered,
bamboo, cork, tile, marble, or stone) that has lifted from it’s
sub-floor. Expands approximately 20% and cleans up with
lacquer thinner or acetone. Cure time is 8 hours.
Mapei Ultrabond Urethane Cleaner - 32 oz.

effectively remove wet urethane adhesive residues from
the surface of prefinished wood flooring. It is low-odor,
nonflammable, pH-neutral and biodegradable. Safe for use

Designed to hold Ram Board seams together. Its 3" width
gives more of an allowance to cover Ram Board seams.
The kraft backing makes it easy to tear off and install as
well as makes it recyclable. Because of its contractor
grade adhesive, it should not be taped directly to finished
floors and surfaces. Like most tape it is not vapor
permeable and should be avoided in areas where curing
floors need to breathe.
