THE WIDE-EYED WONDER OF WIDESCREEN AQUOS
The largest, most impressive AQUOS to date, a 37-inch AQUOS makes an ideal
centerpiece for the most sophisticated home theater. HDTV compatibility with
1366 x 768 resolution provides true 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for a breathtaking picture. The separate AVC system houses all terminal connections to
minimize clutter around the panel and preserve the clean look whether it’s wallmounted or tabletop.
The 30-inch AQUOS offers many of the same features and comparable performance specifications as the larger AQUOS. These large AQUOS models offer more
than a remarkable television, they’re also the ultimate PC display. Connected to

Thanks to their compact size, AQUOS Liquid Crystal Televisions require fewer parts and less packaging than conventional CRT televisions. The main unit employs
non-halogen materials and lead-free solder, while the base stand is made of 30% recycled materials. The entire unit is structurally designed for easy disassembly
and uses unified grades of noncombustible materials for easier recycling. What’s more, Sharp has eliminated the use of polystyrene packaging and molded parts
that contain vinyl chloride, further reducing the burden on the environment.
LOW POWER CONSUMPTION
As the ideal television for the 21st century, AQUOS Liquid Crystal Televisions consume 30 to 50% less than comparably sized CRT televisions, which not only makes
them more economical, but also contributes to the reduction of global CO2 emissions.
LONG-LIFE BACKLIGHT SYSTEM
A redesigned backlight system minimizes light loss, providing a long lamp life of about 60,000 hours (when used continuously in a room at 25°C and in standard
lighting conditions and brightness). AQUOS Liquid Crystal Televisions also feature an Auto-Save function that automatically adjusts the brightness of the backlight
to match ambient light conditions, contributing to further energy savings.
