Women’s Vision Meet
Women’s Vision Camp was held in Yesu Pannai on 13, 14
February. About 1800 women gathered and Sis. Sunitha Sukumar
and Sis. Florence Jaishankar and Sis. Rajabhupathy Soundra
Pandian gave special messages. In the Holy Communion service
held on 14th morning Mr. D. Soundra Pandian, President IMS gave
message. This Meet was of great benefit for new prayer groups to be
formed and many women to commit themselves for missionary work.
Mission field co – ordinators’ meet
Mission field in Charge and
co – ordinators’ Meet was held
in YMCA Hall, Vepery, Chennai
on 19, 20 February.
Following that, on February
20th, 7 hours fasting prayer
was held for all the Mission field in charge and Regional co –
ordinators. The missionaries prayed for the revival in the nation and
committed themselves to work speedily.

Executive Committee Meeting
The Sub committees of
IMS met on 26 February and
the Executive Committee was
held on 27 February in the
Head office. I thank God for
the counsel given to hasten the IMS ministry and for the resolutions
passed. 9 missionaries who have already completed training in
Thirumaraiyur, 6 missionaries to join new and 3 Promotional workers
were introduced. Of the 18 people who had committed themselves
to do ministry for a short time 15 people have committed themselves
to continue their service to IMS and this gave us great happiness.
Cathedral worship service- Palayankottai
On February 28, I gave message in the 8 a.m. service in the
Cathedral Palaymkottai and also shared the mission field news. In 6
p.m. worship service, Rev. Mrs. Latha Kingsly, Women’s Wing co ordinator gave message and shared mission field news. Remembering
114th Birthday of IMS special prayers and thanksgiving prayers were
offered. Encouragement was given to raise 100 missionary sponsors
and 1000 village sponsors in the month of May. We thank Rev. J.I. E.
Sudharson, Pastorate Chairman for giving us this chance.

Along with Chennai branch visitors we witnessed the variety
entertainment by the hostel students in the night. We praised God for
the miracles done among the hostel students.

workers committed themselves happily to meet the needs of the
mission fields. This gave liveliness to execute the vision of IMS.
IMS Convention – Manjuvillai
IMS team conducted the convention this year in Manjuvillai CSI
Church in memory of my grand father Mr. John Abraham. Rev. A.D.
Raj, Tirunelveli District Promotional Co – ordinator gave the message
and Vision Ark team gave an entertainment. Many committed
themselves to pray for IMS ministry and to give for IMS.
7 hours Fasting Prayer in Manjuvillai
In the venue given by His servant for the stay of the missionaries
and the Promotional workers 7 hours fasting prayer was held on
march 10th from 9 a.m. to 4. 30 p.m. More than 350 people gathered
to pray for a revival in the nation and for IMS mission fields.

True Friend – Youth Meet
A
One Day Youth Meet was held in the church campus of Kunor
mission field on 2016 February 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More
than 270 youth from Malta, Kunor and Patharghata gathered.
Missionary Mrs. Sheba Paul led the songs and worship service
on the theme “True Friend”. Tirunelveli Youth Department workers
conducted Bible Quiz and with choreography, skit entertained the
youth. Mrs. Emy Stephen gave message in the morning session and
Rev. D.K. Stephen (Director- T.D.Y. A.) preached in the afternoon
session. With many anecdote, incidents and practical counseling,
powerful messages were given. Many youth committed their lives for
a new life and to be servants of God.

y the grace and mercy of God let there be peace in you.
Do we who meditated on the sufferings and death and the
resurrection of Jesus Christ follow His footsteps and teachings? Is
there a change in the works of flesh? Let over ponder n this for a while.
The people of Nineveh fasted and left their evil ways, God observing
it and repented of the evil that he had said he would do unto them and
He did it not. Jonah 3: 8 – 10
Seeing Zaccheus who had come to see Him, Jesus said that He
wanted to abide at his house, Zaccheus made haste and received Him
joyfully. Also, he said that he would return fourfold any thing that he
had taken from any man by false accusation.
Zaccheus was a very rich man. The Romans gave the work of
tax collection only to the one who gave them very high amount. The
publicans did not get any wages from the Romans. The publican
(Zaccheus) used to
extract as much
money as
possible
from

Though Zaccheus was a greedy evil man, when Jesus called him,
he was convicted of his sins and short comings. Not only realizing his
sins, he also showed it in action.
When I was in Std. V my father suddenly became paralytic. Even
after I month of treatment he was not healed. The physiotherapists
made him do many exercises. But my father was a God fearing man.
Therefore, he used to pray even in his bed, “Lord, I have become bed
ridden even in this young age. What sin did I commit?” God pointed
out his sin. He used to give loan for weekly interest. God dealt with him
with the verse, “You shall not give your money upon usury”. Therefore,
he told every one to whom he had given a loan to return only the
capital and not with interest. That night itself, the door was knocked
at 11. 30 p.m. My father could not get up from his bed due to paralytic
stroke. But, he was able to walk to the door and open it. My father was
so amazed. How did he do it? He even touched his hands and feet
and realized that he was healed. When he confessed that he would not
give loan for interest and showed it in action, over night he was healed
of his paralytic stroke.
Likewise, in our lives also, let us put a full stop to our actions that
are not pleasing to God. Let us involve in deeds pleasing to God.
Specifically, as women, let us not spend time in gossiping, viewing
T.V. but stand in the gap and pray for our nation. Commit yourselves
to pray for the prayer points given in the Missionary Intelligencer, pray
individually or in groups, to serve as a leader in your area to collect
money for IMS upholding missionaries. As Jeremiah 31: 16 says, God
will certainly reward you according to your deeds.

aster lunch was splendid. Selwyn was feeling sleepy after a
sumptuous meal. But Selwyn was restless. He was looking at the
cell phone often and on. Only when he saw in the whatsapp that ticket
was purchased, he came to his normal self. He fell into his bed.
Again cell phone rang. Selwyn got irritated. “Who tortures at this
hour?. Put it down” Selwyn said annoyingly.
“Selwyn, I am Jesus, talking from Heaven.” said Jesus.
“Jesus”! Shock waves passed through his body.
“Yes, I am Jesus. I am coming to your house at 5 p.m".
Excited Selwyn said, “Jesus, Do come, come Jesus. But next week,
please. My mother and father will come late from the school. Servant
aunty also is not at home now. She has gone to her village to celebrate
Easter. He was just blabbering in shock. But, already the connection
was cut at the other end.
Selwyn was angry. His visit only on a feast day? Not allowing us to
enjoy the festival at all. What a God He is”? Let Him come. I will teach
Him a lesson", He said.
He just sat down thinking what He could do. His mother left the
house saying, “Selwyn, it is already four. Aren’t you ready? We are
going earlier. Selwyn thought that it was good. He can carry out his
game plan. Selwyn comforted himself.
Church bell ticked five p.m. At the same time,
the calling bell of the house rang. “So He has
come” Reluctantly he went to open the door. But,
Jesus entered into his house even as
the door was closed.
He was upset. He started
blabbering, “Hallelujah, Hosanna,
Amen….” He said to Jesus, “What
will you have Jesus? Hot coffee,

Sarbang had double pneumonia. Though she
was treated in the hospital for three days,
there was no cure. When the doctors had
abandoned her and the child was on the verge
of death she contacted us the missionaries
over the phone. We went to the hospital

Sita: She was married for five years and did not
a child. She had requested our missionary Jacob
Daniel to pray for her. God answering the prayer
blessed her with a baby boy. Days passed by.
One day, she called the missionary and said,
“My son is on the verge of death. Please pray
for him”. As the missionary was in another
village, he said, “It will be late for me to come.
Therefore, do not wait for me. You pray for your
son. I too will pray”. Sita came to the church

Bro. Pulsanth of the village Kummiya of Arora mission field in
Uttar Pradesh was brewing liquor and was doing witchcraft.
Though his wife was regularly doing pooja to her god, she
was vomiting blood. Our evangelists preached gospel to him
and told him of the love of God. But he used to say that their
God was not true God and continued to do his witchcraft.
Meanwhile, his wife’s health was deteriorating. Though he
was doing witch craft and prayed to all the gods there was
no improvement in her health. Finally they came to Jesus
seeking health. God gave her perfect healing. Now he is
strongly holding on to God and is doing ministry.

ro. Daniel was born in the village Thenthuliguda, 18 kms
from Kalimela mission field in Odisha state to the couple
Jeganath – Aswathi on 05.11. 1966. He was brought up as
a fanatic Hindu. Marrying Sis. Santhimani, he was leading a
worldly life. At this time he was affected by severe stomach
ache and was taking treatment in a hospital. As there was no
improvement in his health he seemed to be critical. Missionary
Bro. Devasahayam who happened to go to that village to
proclaim the gospel prayed for his health and gave him the
gospel. God mighty to heal touched him and healed him.
Therefore, Bro. Daniel had faith in the Lord and committed his
life to the Lord and joined IMS on 10. 09. 1990 to do God’s
ministry. He gave his own land in his village to build a church
for the believers to worship the Lord and now he serves the
Lord with Thenthuliguda as centre. God has blessed him with
4 children. Two children are married. 2 children are studying.
Pray that God blesses this family and many people accept
Jesus as their Lord through his ministry
