Police search in Hamburg
12 noon Litvinenko arrives in central London by car
buying a newspaper near Piccadilly Circus. The car later
tested negative for radiation
3pm Meets academic Mario Scaramella at Itsu and
receives documents
4pm Hurries to Boris Berezovsky's office in 7 Down
Street. Shows documents and photocopies them.
Radiation later found on photocopying machine. At
some point he also visits Erinys
4.30pm Litvinenko meets Lugovoi and Kovtun at Pine
Bar, Millennium hotel in Grosvenor Square ahead of
the Arsenal match. Kovtun and Lugovoi went to
Pescatori on the same day. Radiation later detected at
the Emirates stadium and among staff at the Pine Bar
Later, Litvinenko complains of feeling sick and spends
the night vomiting at his home in Osier Crescent

witnesses including Lugovoi and Kovtun. Two days
later announces it is treating the case as murder
