Bringing Color to Life™
Tea Thyme™ ceramics add a festive splash of
color whether you’re entertaining or enjoying
a relaxing day at home. Fun, decorative, and
functional — each piece is hand-painted in
our Miami studio in the tradition of old
world artisans.
Born in Santiago, Chile, Alexandra Guillard-Burdett
has always been surrounded by a love for art
and design. In the early 1990’s she began
exploring the art of majolica (maiolica)
and found that she had a passion for
painting ceramics. Fueled by demand
from friends, family and local interest,
what first began as a hobby eventually

Handcrafted Nature
Tea Thyme™ ceramics are hand-painted
originals and variations in color and design
attest to the hand-crafted nature of our products. Slight imperfections such as small paint
smudges or lids that are a little loose add to
the character and individuality of each piece.
Care & Usage
Tea Thyme™ ceramics are functional works
of art and should be handled with care.
All of Tea Thyme™ ceramics are food safe
and non-toxic. Although dishwasher safe at
low heat we recommend the hand washing
of fine ceramics. Use in conventional ovens
and microwaves is not recommended. Avoid
extreme shifts in temperature. As with all
hand-painted ceramic dinnerware and
accessories, some crazing or discoloration
of the glaze may occur over time. With
proper care, your ceramics can provide
years of enjoyment.
