When sending your clipper or trimmer, please ensure you
give us as much information should there be a fault with
the machine. When sending your clipper please ensure it is
wrapped well in bubble wrap and placed in a padded envelope
of a box. There is no need to send the original clipper box
packaging. Download our first class postage label and stick it
to the front of a 25cm x 35cm padded envelope or small box.
This will cover you to send us 1 clipper Free of Carriage.

receive your equipment we find blade teeth missing, we will
call you before we start to dismantle your order.
Servicing takes around 1-2 days to complete, however if some
parts are needed that are not stocked, the servicing time can
take up to 7 days.
Refunds will be made for any items returned (at customer’s
expense) which are in saleable condition, not damaged, and in
original packaging within 14 days of receiving them.
Rechargeable clippers need to be accompanied with
a fully charged internal or external battery.

product or packaging is in such a condition that the item is
not fully resalable.

As part of our commitment we aim to dispatch all sharpening
orders within 24 hours if received before 2pm. Orders
placed after 2pm on a Friday or over a weekend will not be
processed until the following Monday.
Personal Service
When we receive your blades and scissors, your order is
dismantled and placed into its own pod. We then engrave
the blades with your initials and the date when we received
them. Once sharpened by our Technician they go through our
cleaning and polishing process before being packaged into
our own branded boxes.
Posting your Blades and Scissors
Here at Blades Services we will do everything possible to make
your life easy. Our system is very straight forward in sending us
your sharpening requirements. Download our first class postage
label from our web page and stick it to the front of a 25cm x
35cm padded envelope or small box. This will cover you to send
us a total of 9 items to include clipper blades and scissors.
Packing your items for sharpening
Ensure your blades and scissors are clean and free from hair.
Dirty equipment is liable for a £10 cleaning charge. To avoid
damage, wrap your items well in bubble wrap and avoid cello
tape over the tips of scissors. Tape the padded envelope or
box well and remember to include an order form with all your
covering details.

Clipper Servicing

key to getting the best results from your tools and equipment
when clipping.
Have your clipper serviced every nine months depending
on the level of work to avoid a buildup of hair inside the
machine. We service all makes of clippers and trimmers
except Laube.
What is included in your service:
• Inspection of the machine
• Oil and grease parts
• Re-assemble and mechanically test
• Mandatory test the electrics
However, if there are parts that are found to be worn and
need replacing we will call you beforehand.

Refunds
Goods becoming damaged in your opinion through defective
materials, poor workmanship or during carriage should be
notified immediately and returned for inspection in not more
than 14 days. Under no circumstances should items continue to
be used as you will be deemed to have accepted the goods in
their condition. Where justified damage has occurred P&P fees
will be reimbursed. Any orders that do not involve damaged or
defective goods will not be eligible for P&P refund.
