Local charges will be on consignee's account which excluded above
rates (DTHC, storages, truck insurance, special zone services, local
insurance, additional weight, demurrage, detention, additional Bond
guarantee, amendments, laboratory, inspection, standard…) 9% VAT
will be added to all above local charges.
- All the rates are based on empty return to IRBND on same truck and
same day. Otherwise, empty return charges will be debited to
Shipper/Consignee account.
- Rates are valid for 20’ DC, 40’ DC and High cube loaded on one
truck/trailer with a maximum GWT of 21 MT including containers tare
and normal shipment. Below items check with us case by case.
For every additional ton up to 28 tons, a surcharge of 4% per ton is
charged.
For overweight cntr (over 28 tons) surcharge will be calculated on a
case by case basis, and pre-reservation should be done.
Please apply to us .
For all Hazardous containers (please check carefully IMO classes
accepted) a surcharge of 10 % to 35 % on top of inland rate is
applicable.
For all non standard cntrs (i.e. FR and OT) for which cargo is overdimensions, you are requested to apply to us.
Above rates are exclude offloading charges at destination which is on
consignee's account.
Above rates exclude import THC at IRBND .
IRBND THC for normal shipments: USD 177/20’ – 266/40’
- In order to prevent any problem and discrepancy, trucking rates
have to be calculated according to the estimated date of arrival of the
vessel at IRBND. Otherwise POL booking agent's account will be
debited for the inland freight difference which is on shipper's account

NOTES:
- Cargo must be insured up to final place of delivery by the shipper. Local insurance
premium is not included into inland rates. If missing, local insurance will be covered and
cost will be on shipper's account.
- Intermodal B/L must show clearly the final place of delivery.
Any incurred cost regarding changes of final place of delivery or consignee name or any
correction and amendment will be on Shipper or Consignee's account.
- Any discrepancy in cargo weight loaded in container with documents may affect the
inland rates. Also, penalty imposed by the customs due to discrepancy would be on shipper
account.
Any discrepancy between actual specification of the shipments with shipping documents
may cause penalty charges which will be charged to agent account to be collected from
shipper or consignee.
- The given rates are applicable for cargo with value up to USD 10,000 per containers,
otherwise, surcharge of USD 15 for every additional USD 10,000 for bond guarantee will
apply.
- Cargo should have Registration of Order by consignee
Any discrepancy between mentioned value on invoice and customs evaluation may cause
customs penalty which will be on shipper's account.
- For groupage containers, USD 85 per bill of ladings for Customs documentation to be
charged.
- Necessary permissions must be obtained in advance for Tobacco import to Iran.
Below documents are required to accomplish customs / transit formalities at least 5
working days prior to vessel arrival in IRBND, Otherwise all incurred costs will be on
shipper/consignee account:
- copy of B/L
- copy of commercial invoice
- copy of packing list
- copy of certificate of origin
- Original local insurance policy certificate. If missing, local insurance will be covered and
cost will be on shipper's account.
- Original health and phyto-sanitary certificate (for food stuff and perishable goods)
- copy of Registration Order and proforma invoice
DEMURRAGES / STORAGES
- Above rates include only 48 hour free truck detention at final
destination. Thereafter, regular detention charges at USD 80
per day per truck will be debited to shipper/consignee
account.
- According to local regulations, storage charges is calculated
from first day of vessel arrival to IRBND with 10 days free time.
If cargo stays more than 10 days in port, storage will be
calculated from day one and applicable from consignee.
PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR IMPORT OF TOBACCO :
Shipper must obtain a quarantine certificate, which consignee
will be asked for by customs authority to clear the cargo.
Foreign cigarettes can be imported to Iran but only cigarettes
labeled with "Islamic Republic of Iran Tobacco Co. Labels".

9% VAT to be added on all local charges (DTHC, additional CIF value charges,
storages, truck insurance, special zone services, local insurance, additional
weight, demurrage, detention, additional Bond guarantee, amendments,
laboratory, inspection, ton kilometer, ... )
- All the rates are based on empty return to IRBND on same truck.
- All the rates are valid for 20'/40' standard and high cube container with
maximum weight of 20 tons including container tare weight.
- For every additional ton up to 24 tons, a surcharge of 5% per ton Freight is
chargeable.
- For overweight containers, (over 24 tons) a surcharge will be calculated on a
case by case basis, pre-reservation should be done. Please apply to us.
For OOG shipments, please refer to us case by case basis.
For all hazardous containers, a surcharge of 10% to 35% on top of inland rate is
applicable. (Please check carefully IMO classes accepted)
Above rates exclude import THC at IRBND which is to be PREPAID as per existing
tariff at port of origin together with on-carriage.
IRBND THC for normal external transit shipments: USD 129/20’ - 161/40'
- Transit of pork meat/gambling devices/alcoholic beverages/guns and
ammunitions or any other forbidden by Islamic law is strictly BANNED.
- Above Rates are not applicable for cigarette
shipments.
- Import of tobacco: shipper must obtain a quarantine certificate, which
consignee will be asked for by customs authority to clear the cargo.
For transit of chewing-gum/chocolate/cigarettes and drugs (medicine) health
certificate is necessary to be provided by shipper.
- In order to prevent any problem and discrepancy, trucking rates have to be
calculated according to the estimated date of arrival of the vessel at IRBND.
Otherwise POL booking agent's account will be debited for the inland frt
difference which is on shipper's account.
Any sudden taxes imposed at CIS or Afghanistan / Iraq territory will affect rates and
will be debited on shipper account.

ARMENIA
- ARMENIA ROAD TAX : Armenia tax road is USD 420 per container and is not included in the
trucking rate. If driver pay to Armenia authority, it will be applicable from shipper/consignee.
AZERBAIJAN
Bolted and screwed containers for transit to Azerbaijan are not allowed . Otherwise truck will
stop by custom authority and return back .
- If cargo is raw materials, hazardous or chemical products, or any flammability cargo have a tax of
USD 320/container which will be paid by driver to Azari Customs. This tax is on the Consignee's
account and if he refuses to pay it will be on shipper's account.
- AZERBAIJAN ROAD TAX: Azerbaijan road taxes should be paid by shipper on top of the inland
rate.
According to the system if cargo + cntr will be more than 24 tons, it has USD 100 as penalty. The
weight of truck + cntr + cargo must not be more than 37 tons and have not permit to enter/pass to
Azerbaijan.
Azeri border will collect USD 100/ per cntr as scanning.
UZBEKEISTAN
- If any cargo enter / pass from Uzb with value more than USD 50,000 have to pay USD 200/cntr as
Escort charges which will be on shipper/consignee's account.
KAZAKISTAN
- Over weight penalty charges in Almata for the shipments exceeding 35 tons including trailer
weight together with cargo will be on shipper’s account. More than 35 tons have not permit pass
and truck will stop by authority.
OTHER CIS DESTINATIONS
- For Tbilisi , USD 250/ container will be added on top of the rate as HC surcharge. Red Bridge has
USD 900 tax / cntr.
- if any penalty for HC in Tashkent, Dushanbeh, Bishkek, Alamaty, it will be added on top of the
rates as HC surcharges.
- POL are requested to inform POD by email of list of BLs/cts in transit to above destinations upon
vessel departure.
- Turkmenistan will collect USD 1,200 / container 40' HQ at border as HC surcharges for passing or
entering to country.
- In case of any sudden Taxes/Penalty which announce by CIS countries, it will be added on top of
the rate and applicable from shipper/consignee .
IRBND storage charges will be on shipper's account as per PMO Tariff in case of container kept on
hold or due to shortage of documents. Any penalty imposed by the customs due to discrepancy
would be on POL account too.

DEMURRAGES AND STORAGES
Above rates include only 48 hours free demurrage at final destination.
Thereafter, regular demurrage charges at USD 165 / day / truck will be
debited to shipper/consignee account.
Storage charges are calculated from first day of vessel arrival to IRBND with
10 days free time. If cargo stays more than 10 days in port, storage will be
calculated from day one. Therefore, to prevent from any extra storage
charges, necessary documents should be submitted before vessel arrival to
IRBND for further arrangement. Otherwise all storage charges will be on
shipper/consignee account.
IMPORTANT REMARKS
- All agent are kindly requested to quote freight, on carriage rates, and
import THC in IRBND to suppliers at origin only on prepaid basis.
- Any incurred cost regarding changes of final place of delivery or consignee
name, corrections and amendment will have to be collected from Shipper .
- Containers cannot be grounded at final place of delivery & must remain on
truck and return empty to POD.
- The given rates are applicable for cargo with value up to USD 10,000 per
containers, otherwise surcharge of USD 15 for every additional USD 10,000 will
apply.
Any discrepancy between documents & customs evaluations (in terms of cargo
value), as well as any weight discrepancy which may cause penalty & extra
charges, will be on shipper/consignee's acct .
Below documents are required to accomplish customs / transit formalities at
least 5 working days prior to vessel arrival in IRBND, otherwise all incurred costs
will be on shipper/consignee account :
- copy of commercial invoice
- copy of packing list
- copy of certificate of origin and
- Original full set of MB/L (in case of not issuing Telex Release / CRR)
- Original insurance policy certificate. If missing local insurance will be covered
and cost will be on shipper's account.
- Original of health & phyto-sanitary certificate (for foodstuff & perishable
goods)
IMPORTANT NOTE :
For all EXTRNAL TRANSIT shipments , a guarantee has to be taken from shipper
in POL to protect reimbursement of the same in POD after empty cntr returned
back to IRBND terminal, as there are some hidden costs which may happen ( like
: storage , over weight , etc) fully described above, which will have to be cleared
later on.
