THE RHYTHM FOUNDATION is a non-profit presenting organization based in Miami Beach. It was founded in 1988 with the goal of increasing
international awareness through live music and related media programming, and has grown to become a major presenter of world music in the
US. Special focus is given to those cultures connecting to South Florida audiences - music from Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, Africa and
Europe. The range of programs covers music at the heart of global culture today to traditional music of the world. The Rhythm Foundation also
works to build and strengthen diverse South Florida communities through shared cultural experiences.
