Colean Gertrude Wilson was born on December 13, 1929 to Walter and Esther (Williams) Wilson in Walnut Grove, AR. She graduated from high school in Springfield, MO. On June 11, 1949 she united in marriage to Donald Edwin Campbell in Springfield. She was employed as a seamstress and resided in Arkansas, Washington, Missouri, Iowa and Georgia before joining her daughter in Las Vegas, Nevada. Colean's many talents shown through in her sewing, painting, crocheting and square dancing. She enjoyed being outside working in her garden. She liked to gamble and play computer solitaire. It was a wish come true when she was able to attend Morgan's wedding. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. Colean Campbell, 82, of Las Vegas, NV passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Platte Health Center in Platte, SD. Grateful for having shared in Colean's life: her 2 children: Donna West and husband, David of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Campbell and wife, Karla of Platte, SD; 5 grandchildren: Michael Stowers, Monica Stowers, Zach Campbell, Morgan Zavadil and Thad Campbell; 3 great grandchildren: Jonquil Stowers Sndyer, Jacob Stowers and Natalie Stowers; along with 2 nephews: Jerry Wilson and James Wilson, Jr. of Concord, AR. Colean was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald (1982); her parents; 2 brothers: James Wilson and Ernest Ray Wilson; and a sister, Hanner Grey.
