Chairman: David M. Fitzpatrick
Mr. Fitzpatrick is an independent businessman. From 1996 to 2007, Mr. Fitzpatrick served as President, CEO, Director and co-founder of Shiningbank Energy Income
Fund. Prior thereto, Mr. Fitzpatrick was Chief Operating Officer and Senior VP Corporate Development & Gas Marketing at Serenpet. Mr. Fitzpatrick received his Bachelor of
Science in Geological Engineering from Queen’s University in 1981 and completed the Queen’s Executive Program in 1994. Mr. Fitzpatrick is also Chairman of Twin Butte
Energy and Eagle Energy Trust.
Director: Eric G. Panchy
Mr. Panchy is an oil and gas executive with over 30 years of experience in acquisitions, exploration and development. Mr. Panchy was President and CEO of Bountiful
Resources, from 2005 until it was sold to Barrick Energy in 2010. Prior to founding Bountiful Resources, Mr. Panchy was President of Wiser Oil Canada and Vice-President of
Exploration, from 2000 until its sale to Forest Oil in 2004. Prior thereto, Mr. Panchy was co-founder of Sonoma Energy Corporation. Mr. Panchy is the President & CEO of
Shiningstar Energy.
Director: George K. Hickox, Jr.
Mr. Hickox is the Principal of an energy investment partnership, Heller Hickox & Company, formed to participate as investor and sponsor in oil and gas related transactions. In
2000, he organized the recapitalization of Wiser Oil Company and was appointed CEO and Chairman of the Board. Prior thereto, Mr. Hickox was Vice-President for a number
of investment banking and energy lending companies in the United States. Mr. Hickox is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M Foundation.
Director: Donald Cowie
Mr. Cowie is currently President of JOG Capital, a private equity partnership focused on junior oil and gas companies in Western Canada. He has over 25 years of experience in
the financial oil and gas industry. From 1992 to 2002, Mr. Cowie was the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking for the Bank of America. Prior to 2002, he served as an
officer or director for several junior oil and gas companies and several other financial companies specializing in the oil and gas sector. Mr. Cowie serves as an independent
director for a number of private and public companies listed on either the Toronto Stock Exchange or TSX Venture Exchange.
Director: Bill Slavin
Mr. Slavin is a Managing Director at ARC Financial Corporation, and plays a key role in overseeing and actively driving ARC’s investment activities in the Canadian and
international exploration areas. He joined ARC in 1993. Mr. Slavin currently represents ARC on the Boards of Aduro Resources and Rock Energy. Mr. Slavin holds a MBA from
the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from Queen’s.

Vice-President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer: Ying Yuen, CA
Mr. Yuen is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in senior financial and management positions. Most recently, Mr. Yuen was Vice President, Finance &
Chief Financial Officer at Border Petroleum. Prior to his appointment with Border, Mr. Yuen served as Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer for Bountiful
Resources, which was sold to Barrick Energy in 2010. Mr. Yuen has served as Chief Financial Officer for a number of private and public oil and gas companies since 1998.
Vice-President, Engineering & Chief Operating Officer: Dan Williams, P.Eng.
Mr. Williams is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. He has worked numerous geographic areas over the
past 14 years with PetroBakken Energy as their Senior Engineering Manager (2009-2011), TAQA North as their Northern Business Unit Manager (2007-2009), Shiningbank
Energy Income Fund as their Vice-President of Acquisitions and Divestitures (2000-2007), and Newport Petroleum as Senior Exploitation Engineer.
Vice-President, Exploration: Ayaz Gulamhussein, P.Geol.
Mr. Gulamhussein is a Petroleum Geologist with over 11 years of experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. He has worked numerous geographic areas and play
types during his time with NuVista Energy Ltd. (2007-2011) as a Senior Geologist, Shiningbank Energy Income Fund (2005-2007), and Coastal Resources Ltd. (2003-2005).
Mr. Gulamhussein has served as a Director for the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (2008-2011) and in 2010 was named to Avenue Calgary’s Top 40 under 40.
Vice-President, Land: Cam Bogle
Mr. Bogle is a land professional with over 30 years experience in the Canadian oil & gas industry. Mr. Bogle was Vice President, Land at Bountiful Resources, which was sold to
Barrick Energy in 2010. Prior to Bountiful Resources, Mr. Bogle held various full time and consulting land positions with Norcen Energy, Samson Canada, Trioco Resources,
True Energy, Assure Oil & Gas and CDX Canada. Mr. Bogle is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen.
Vice-President, Operations: Scott Mills, P.Eng.
Mr. Mills is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in exploitation, production, reservoir, and facilities engineering. Most recently, Mr. Mills was the Team
Lead for NuVista Energy's Deep Basin group (2008-2012). Prior to NuVista Energy, Mr. Mills was a Senior Area Engineer at Rider Resources (2007-2008), Engineering
Manager at Highpine Oil & Gas (2005-2007), and Engineering Manager at Burlington Resources for the Deep Basin Asset Team (2001-2005). Prior to these positions, Mr. Mills
worked at Poco Petroleum, Pan East Petroleum, and Amoco Canada Petroleum in various engineer roles.
