• We are here in Phuket, Thailand to participate with AUF General Assembly 2014. On
behalf of the President of POSSI or ISSA Freddy Numberi, we present as following:
ORGANIZATION SECTOR:
•
POSSI attend CMAS Elective General Assembly in Cebu, Phillipines on 17 - 23
April 2013. On this GA POSSI propose June Luhulima to become a member of
CMAS Board of Directors (BoD). POSSI have’t had the opportunity but quite proud
of since we got 44 votes from the participants. We should be grateful because
POSSI is known better by some Federation members.
•
POSSI (President, general secretary and head of Scientific commission) attend
CMAS General Assembly in Rome, on 9 - 10 May 2014. On this occasion POSSI
were asked to present the procedure of diving license card card, and get attention
by the BoD.
•

distance, in East Kalimantan 23 - 30 June 2013,

National Junior Finswimming Championship (Swimming pool) in Surabaya, East
Java, 6 - 8 December 2013
•
Attend the CMAS Golden Final Finswimming World Cup 2013 in Geneva,
Switzerland, 28 - 30 September 2013.
•
Organize and attend 2nd AUF Underwater Photography Competition 2013 in
Manado, North Sulawesi, 20 - 25 November 2013.
•
Manokwari, Papua Open Finswimming Championship 2014 (long distance), in
Manokwari, West papua, 7 - 9 February 2014.
•
Bangka Open Finswimming Championship 2014 (long distance), in Bangka,
Bangka-Belitung, 18 - 19 April 2014.
•
1st University International Competition 2014, in Lignano-Sabbiadoro, Italy, 2 - 6
August 2014. The first University CMAS Competition which was a test competition in order to prove the strength of Finswimming to the International Olympic
Committee, was held in Lignano-Sabbiadoro (Ital), on August 2- 6, 2014. The
Lignano competition attracted the attention and involved Finswimmers from
over 20 countries of three continents in the World.

National Finswimming Championship 2014 (long distance and orienteering)
during the time of Sail Raja Ampat, West Papua, 4 - 12 June 2014.

National Finswimming Championship 2014 (swimming pool), in Jakarta, June 20
- 22, 2014
•
To select two of seven sports (rollerblading, weightlifting, Jet Ski, rock climbing,
dragon boat, paragliding) that would be accommodated in the Asian Games
2018, Jakarta, . POSSI has presented important information and showing a film
to promote Finswimming to the Board member of National Olympic Committee Indonesia on October 31, 2014. CMAS has also sent a letter of recommendation
that would strengthen the request to accommodate Finswimming as a part of
the coming Asian Games. We also expect that countries who attend this meeting
would support our plea which is important for the development of Finswimming
in Asian.
2. TRAINING
• Conducting education for finswimming and orienteering coach, level one in 2013
and 2014
• Conducting training for referee level one in April 2014.

Conducting one star diving instructors courses in 2013 and 2014

Instructor meeting during “DEEP Indonesia”, the largest diving exhibition in
Indonesia
SCIENTIFIC AND MEDICAL COMMITTEE
•
In line with DEEP and EXTREME Indonesia 2014 which is now recognized as one of
an important diving exhibition in Indonesia, and marine eco tourism businesses we
conduct a “talk show” with a theme: diving accident and hyperbaric chamber
•
In January 2014 we were called to have an audience with the Minister of Health in
response to hyperbaric chamber provision request in accident-prone diving area
in Indonesia. The mrs. Nafsiah Mboi, Minister of Health promised to approve the
development demand Hyperbaric Chamber in 10 diving regions.
•
In colaboration with the Center for Research and Development of Marine Geology
(P3GL) in Bandung, West Java, being held an Oceanology and Geology Scientific
Diving Course at the Bandung Institute of Technology, in Thousand Islands,
Jakarta, 31 October - 2 November 2014.
MARINE TOURISM COMMITTEE
•
Each year through events such as Sail Bunaken, Sail Banda, Sail Wakatobi,Belitong, Sail Morotai , North Moluccas and the last Sail Raja Ampat 2014 in Papua,
POSSI support Marine Tourism promotion and environmental sustainability
programs.
