Africa Safari Itinerary
July 25- August 5, 2016
July 25,26 – Fly to Nairobi. Will be met at airport and transferred to the
Intercontinental in Nairobi.

July 27 – This day will be spent in Nairobi. You have the option to go
to an elephant orphanage, giraffe center, crocodile farm, and the Karen
Blixen home from “Out of Africa”. Or the day at your leisure at the
Intercontinental. Overnight at the Intercontinental.
July 28 – After breakfast we checkout and drive approximately 6 hours to
Samburu National Reserve. Lunch, afternoon at leisure before going out
for an evening game drive at 4:00pm. In this part of northern Kenya is
where you will find gerenuk, giraffe, gazelle, oryx, grevy zebra, leopards and
massive herds of elephants and crocodiles of Ewasonyiro. Dinner and
overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge.
July 29- Early morning game drive before breakfast. This is the best time to see
lions, and the leopard. We will return to the lodge for breakfast. Day at your leisure
with the option to visit the Samburu village. Afternoon game drive at 3:30pm, dinner
and overnight in Samburu.
July 30- Early morning game drive before breakfast. Pack and leave for the
Sweetwater Lodge. The drive is approximately 4 hours. Lunch will be served
when we arrive. Afternoon at leisure before going out for an evening game drive
at 4:00pm. Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwater Lodge
July 31- Early morning game drive, return to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast
we will drive to Lake Nakuru passing through the equator and the famous
Thompson Falls. Then continue on to Lake Nakuru, check in at Sarova Lion Hill
Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon visit to the flamingo lake, game drive then
returning to the lodge at dusk. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.
Aug. 01- Early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast we will
pack and leave for the Masai Mara. This is where the great wildebeest migration
takes place. We will arrive in time for lunch, afternoon at your leisure, game drive
at 4:00pm. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Simba Lodge.
Aug. 02- Full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes that takes
you as far as the Mara River where the annual wildebeest
migration crossing takes place. Lunch is served by the hippo
pools, return to the lodge before dark. Dinner & overnight at Mara Simba Lodge
Aug.03- Early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Afternoon at your leisure, optional Masai village after lunch. Evening game drive
at 4:00pm. Dinner & overnight at Mara Simba Lodge.
Aug. 04- Early morning game drive, return for breakfast. After breakfast we will
pack and drive to Nairobi. In route to Nairobi we will stop at Lake Naivasha and take
a boat ride to see the hippos. Then proceed to Nairobi where we will arrive in time
for a farewell dinner at the famous “Carnivores”. After dinner we will transfer to the
airport for your international flight back home.
Aug. 05- Arrive in the USA

Amboselli & Mount Kilimanjaro – 2 night package
Amboselli National Park is the best place to see Mount Kilimanjaro. Most of the
photographs you see of Kilimanjaro were taken in Amboselli. This package includes
morning & evening game drives and 2 nights at the “Amboselli Serena Lodge”.
All meals and transfers to the Lodge, and back to Nairobi.

Tsavo West National Park – 2 night package
By far the biggest wildlife reserve in Kenya, and one of the largest in the world.
Twice the size of Yellowstone National Park at 19,000 square kilometers. Morning
and evening game drives, the best part of this package is the “Kilaguni Serena
Safari Lodge”. Prime wildlife ambience, with a spectacular panoramic overlook of
two waterholes. The rooms are thatched cottages facing the wildlife with panoramic
