NEW TARIFFS
CRANING
With effect from the 1st April 2014
there will be a small inflation price
increase in the mooring
and hoisting tariffs. The
new prices are displayed
on the marina notice board
and on the pontoon gates.
Just a reminder that when the
travel hoist is operating for
safety purposes you should
stand well clear. The hoist
operators are trained staff and
will chock all boats safely.
Also, please do not remove or
move any chocks from under
your boat, as this could make
it unsafe. If you think there is
a problem please contact the
Marina Office.

There will also be some changes in the
office staff. From the beginning of April
Russ Dew, who was at Upton
previously, is returning to complement
our already strong office team and
Penny will be reducing her hours to just
two days a week from 1st May.

OPEN DAY - Saturday 14th June
Our second OPEN DAY is looming fast and we hope that you will support us by being there. We have
various stalls and events taking place so please make a diary note and perhaps bring family and friends to

THE WHEELHOUSE MARINA BAR AND RESTAURANT
Spring is on its way and there is no better way to enjoy a sunny spring day than having
a drink and a meal amongst friends at the Wheelhouse. We have a lovely view over the
Marina and a great outside area in which to relax. We are open from 10am until 9pm
for food and open all day for coffees and alcoholic beverages. We have live music every
Saturday and Sunday Roast is served from 12:30pm until 9pm. We have an extensive
menu to suit most tastes.
Treat your mother to a lovely mothering Sunday 3 course meal on March the 30th all for
the fantastic price of £15 per head including complimentary tea and coffee.

FIRE DRILL
WORKING ON YOUR BOAT
Please remember when working
on your boat to pick up any
nails, screws, or anything
dropped on the car park and put
it in the skip .
Waste oil goes in the waste oil
tank - see a member of staff for
the key. Please put paint tins,
oil filters and oily rags in the
appropriate bins.
Tingdene Marina’s first priority in the event
of a fire is your
safety. To ensure
this, we have fire
drills so that all
the staff are
trained in the
event of a real
fire.
When you are on site and you hear the fire
alarm you must immediately assemble at
the muster point on the front car park.
Staff members will check all the pontoons
and when we are sure that everyone is accounted for you can then return safely to
your boat.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINGDENE !!
On 10th August 2014 Tingdene will celebrate its tenth anniversary of marina ownership.
The first marina in Tingdene ownership was Thames & Kennet Marina at Reading in 2004.
To celebrate this anniversary we are holding our berth-holder party on the evening of Saturday 9th August
the theme will be PIRATES OF THE RIVER SEVERN - so fancy dress is a MUST!!
There will be a coffee and toast morning on Sunday 10th August - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - (especially for
those who are not feeling too well after the night before!).
Please keep these dates free in your diary.

CROSS-OVER CRUISE
Several berth-holders have signed up for “The Cross-Over Cruise”
which is the weekend of 17th - 18th May as part of the British
Marine Federation‘s “GET ON THE WATER THE EASY WAY”. As part
of the Cross-over Cruise you will be able to take advantage of a
free overnight mooring at either Upton Marina or Stourport
Marina and we will also issue two £5.00 food vouchers per boat
for use on the 17th May 2014 at either the Wheelhouse Bar or
the Stourport Clubhouse.
If you would like to take part in this Cross-Over Cruise please
contact the Marina Office as soon as possible so that we can add
you to the flotilla!!
