In the painting trade, there are many areas where it makes sense to use
modern equipment technology – for example when applying varnishes,
primers and emulsions. For some jobs, this technology is a must. These
include large-area filler application as well as the application of fabric
paints, flame retardants and corrosion-proofing products. Using WAGNER’s
state-of-the-art airless units, these coatings can be applied evenly and
quickly. The economic efficiency of equipment technology is an enormous
advantage, in particular when handling high-viscosity materials such as
textured plasters – on facades, masonry, thermal insulation systems and
interior walls.

Using WAGNER equipment, painters can smooth over large areas and
uneven surfaces or simply apply a texture effect. In this case, the coating
thickness remains uniform even on uneven surfaces and is achieved with

is driven indirectly via a hydraulic system.
This has the advantage that the piston has
a distinctly longer and slower stroke than
with direct drive electric pumps. The high
suction power improves the application of
all types of high-viscosity materials.
It is a quick and easy task
to depressurize and clean the unit.
Versatile
Available with 230 V or 400 V electric motor or Honda diesel
motor as required. All the HC units can be converted from
electric to petrol-driven operation (or vice versa) in just a few
minutes. This means that they can also be used on construction sites without an electrical connection. Both motors are
extremely reliable and durable.

Piston pumps transport the material by means of a stroke movement in the piston. This creates high suction performance, making them ideal for highly
viscous materials. Pneumatically driven piston pumps are explosion proof and therefore suitable for use in workshops. Our hydraulic piston pumps offer
even greater performance and can also be operated with petrol.

In brief: Airless spray technology
Unlike the case of air atomisation, airless
atomisation technology atomises the
material using the pressure of the material
alone, i.e. without the use of any air.
An electric, pneumatic or petrol-driven
pump pressurises the material and forces
a defined quantity of material through a
nozzle bore at up to 25 MPa. During this
process, the material is diffused into a
finely atomised spray jet.
Although airless technology is particularly
suitable for the application of emulsions,
this spray process is also often used for
painting jobs on building sites. WAGNER
marking units also use airless spraying
technology.
