That‘s how the basis of the today known „recycling“ was build. 1951 1965 1967 1975 1989 1989 2000 2002 2004 2006 2008 Etablishment of a general partnership – trading old metal, coats and many other kind of waste Construction of a pulling line in Bad Bentheim Purchase of 30.000 m² at the Düppelstraße in Gronau Formation of the ALTEX Gronauer Filz GmbH & Co. KG Formation of the ALTEX Faser & Garn GmbH & Co. KG Formation of the ALTEX Textil Recycling GmbH & Co. KG 90% of the machine park was destroyed by a fire, due within one year the production capacity was totally reconstructed Certification of the ALTEX Textil Recycling according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Certification of the ALTEX Gronauer Filz according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Purchase of a new aerodynamic machine Purchase of an additionial production facility newest technology „State of the Art“ Certification of the ALTEX Gronauer Filz according to CE 07.03.2016 4 ALTEX locations ALTEX Textil Recycling GmbH & Co. In processing plants the old PET bottles were chopped into small flakes, cleaned from foreign substances and prepared to granule. The granule can be used for manufacturing fibers. Out of those fibres high-quality PES fleece can be produced. waste > flakes > granule > fibres > fleece 07.03.2016 17 ALTEX Gronauer Filz Main business Nonwoven Geo Nonwoven – share of turnover 25% Nonwoven for the automotive industry – share of turnover 55 % e.g. for moulded parts: UBS, wheel housing ...
