Thank you for taking these few minutes in getting to know Eve Brodeur, the 12 years old motocross racer from
Laval, Quebec, Canada. Eve and her family, the BrodeurRacing team have been around motocross for the
past 2 decades. Since she was born, Eve was literally raised at race tracks all over Canada and the US. She
started riding at the age of 4 and racing at the age of 5. She has been racing in the boys classes along with
the women’s class and lately in the new Girls 9-11 class.
In 2011, we focused on the Loretta Lynn’s National championship and Eve has been training real hard all
summer preparing for the event. Eve is a really dedicated girl and when she has her mind set on her goal,
nothing will stop her. Eve also competed in the 12 rounds CMRC Quebec championship, the biggest series
in Canada with around 1000 entries every race weekend. She ended her season as 2nd in the Women’s
Junior class with 8 moto wins and 5 overall wins. She also finished 10th in the 85cc 7-11 boys class.
Next winter, Eve will be training at our local indoor track, as well as in Florida during her school break, in
order to prepare herself and be ready for the Loretta’s qualifiers when spring comes.
Eve’s father (also her mechanics and trainer) , Sylvain, races the Vet +40 class and was in a good position to
qualify for Loretta before an injury put him out of contention.
All this training and travelling takes commitment from riders and their family and we couldn’t do this without
our partners.
