In a tough property market for June a total of 71 sales are reported on this month with only 12 successful results known
giving a success rate of only 17% for the month. However there are a number of sales in this months report that despite
our best endeavours we were unable to confirm some sale results so hopefully more sales have been made and of course a
number of properties are still being negotiated with the interested parties.
What is encouraging though is that some 12 months or more ago properties that went to auction were lucky if they had one
registered bidder, if you had two you got excited, today the number of registered bidders attending and competing at many
auctions in many cases is above 4 or 5 registered bidders. A good example of this was the recent auction of an equestrian
property at Upper Coomera by Ray White Rural Brisbane’s Peter Douglas in which some 90 enquiries were received and
some 80 inspections took place with the farm selling post auction for an undisclosed price. In comes back to putting the
right place up at the right price and it will attract buyers
Our report this month is very late due to other things we have had on our plate. As you will see the number of properties
we report on this month is up greatly on previous months, we have managed this month to include this month a selection of
various properties that are for private sale across Australia.
