This multi-pocket sorter combines a normal currency counter with an
efficient and accurate currency sorter in one unit. The JL303 successfully
fills the gap for a reliable, fast and accurate counter sorter. It has two
individual pockets plus a rejects pocket which improves the efficiency of
the operation and minimises the workload.
Notes processed are delivered to one of the two fully
configurable pockets, depending on their value, condition,
face orientation or authenticity. The third pocket enhances
the efficiency of the unit accepting notes that fail detection.
The JL303 has been designed specifically to perform the
demanding task of seeking the fit notes and separating
them in a precise and accurate manner. It can be used at
the front desk, as a reliable and valuable helping hand of
the cashier, in the back-office to perform the end of day
tedious tasks or used by the chief teller to recycle notes. It
is the only machine that guarantees constant throughput
from one operator with a price tag at a fraction of existing
equivalent sorters.
The operators’ interface features a functional keypad
with navigation keys, automatic start stop function, user
adjustable presets for sorting criteria, batch stops and
totals accumulation of all notes counted. A graphic LCD
display shows not only the results of a process but also the
status of the unit.
Modes of operation
The JL303 operates at up to 1,000 notes per minute and
its advanced configuration enables the operation of the
machine in three different configurable modes:
• Normal and value counter, the unit simply counts the total of the acceptable notes processed and displays their value and/or total count.
• Denomination sorter: separates the notes according
to their value, or face and orientation. This mode of
operation enhances the counting uses of a normal
counter
• Condition sorter: enables the unit to perform
functions and fulfil requirements usually feasible by
sorting machines. Sorting preset levels increase the
performance and security, while maintaining the
efficiency and ease of use.
User friendly interface
Audit trail and analysis
The advanced microprocessor controller manages the
day’s workload by tracking the operators, keeping
an audit trail of all operations, and providing cash
management. Available parts connect and transfer data
to a PC, a network or a printer. Counting results such as
notes counted, suspects, notes per pocket, operator ID,
time and date can be printed or transferred to a PC for
storage or analysis.
