“The 2006 VG was so impressive I again pre-ordered the 2007 vintage. This wine is incredibly smooth
and elegant, yet so concentrated with dark fruits, and red raspberries, espresso, lead pencil, and
cinnamon. So for Sparky who always asks that you try and describe their wine in one word, I’m gonna
go with “Ridonkulous” [definition] Way beyond "ridiculous", extremely unbelievable. As for the finish
I swear I could still taste the wine that night while laying in bed counting purple sheep with four left
legs (yes my intoxicated state, the fact that I was too drunk to brush my teeth could also have had a
little something to do with that) I did fall asleep with a smile and a mouth that looked like a pen

‘I don't need to praise you (Janet) for the mollydooker wines except to say thanks for the range that
you provided yesterday. In short, your wines are stunning and full credit goes to your family and
everyone who works within the winery to produce such polished and delicious wines. As a side point, I
went to Edinburgh cellars to pick some up directly after the tour yesterday. My brother-in-law who is
a religious beer-only drinker had a glass of the 2 Left Feet after much pressure and declared it as the
best red wine he'd ever tried. And he's keen to try more! I'm looking forward to ordering and drinking

"I just wanted to let you know things went great at the (Annual Harvesting Hope) Wine Event. The
tasting raised $7,500 for Olive Crest, just awesome!!! We didn't end up doing the Mollydooker Shake
demo but the wines poured for tastings and were a big hit! A couple of fun things for you to hear; I
was walking through the entrance foyer and overheard someone say, 'I'm here because I heard
Mollydooker is here!', and the man who bought the tasting stood up in the front of the room at the

“Despite my attempts to introduce (my wife) to '82 Bordeaux and the like, my wife would only drink
white wine (mostly Chardonnay) until our friend brought a bottle of Blue Eyed Boy to dinner a few
weeks ago. She actually decided to taste it. She absolutely loved it. It is the only red wine that she had
ever tasted and enjoyed. Then, a week or two later, Ted brought a bottle of Carnival of Love to dinner.
She tasted (and drank) it and she raved about it for days. Thus, I concluded that she likes Shiraz. So
over the following week or so I opened up some classics from my cellar- D'Arenberg Dead Arm,
Padthaway Henry's Drive, Peter Lehman, etc... No Go! She loves the Mollydooker wines only! One
exception was a bottle of Marquis Phillips that she gave her blessing to. Obviously, she will only drink

“We went to St. Croix in May and tried to take some more
underwater pictures with our friend COL. There was way
too much sediment and most of the wide angle shot did
not turn out. But we got a couple. The first picture looks
like you found some new customers. They couldn't wait
for me to pop the cork (unscrew the cap?).
You would have to hear some of the comments about the
crazy Americans lugging a wine bottle for 2,000 miles and
then taking it diving to 100'. You must be using better
labels on the 2007 because we actually took this bottle on
4 dives over 3 days. The picture with the boat captain was
taken on the third day. The label was still holding up very
well.
The captain of our dive boat was nicknamed Sparky, so
the second picture is Sparky holding his “Sparky bottle” as
he called it. He begged us to leave him the bottle. No way
were we going to carry an empty Dooker bottle back to the
states so he now has a souvenir.
We went to several very nice restaurants in St. Croix.
Guess what we found on 3 of the menus?
MOLLYDOOKER. One restaurant actually had the 2007
Velvet Glove. The distributor must have spread the wines
around. No two restaurants had the same wine. See you
guys in Napa in a month and then back here in Virginia

the table. Being predictable I opted for the red wine which was an Australian Shiraz. It was a truly
intense wine with heavy fruit content. The smell was quite aromatic and the taste of sweet fruit stood

was their Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz. An absolute delight, this wine is aromatic and flavorful. The taste of
sweet fruit is apparent but not overpowering. The tannins are sleek and the finish is velvety. This wine
is named after the owners’ son, whose picture is on the bottle. The Blue Eyed Boy is an excellent

Maui last Tuesday (6th Oct). We enjoyed every minute of the experience. I don't recall when we

incredibly nice of you. I know you were all tired and you were working; not partying like the rest of
