Fasten side hooks with the open end of
hook facing back of unit. Repeat four (4)
times.
Fasten front latch with the wider
surface flush with the edge of the lid.

Fasten spindles to side of unit.
Repeat four (4) times.
Fasten locking tab to back of unit.

A.) Attach rear filler panel by fastening hinge block to back of unit.
B.) Ensure that the assembly is oriented as shown in order to enable rotation.

INSTALLATION
Set distance between bars on
roof rack, and drill corresponding
holes in base unit for u-bolt using
a 5/16” drill bit.
Dimples in base provide drill
guides for appropriate u-bolt
location.
For proper spacing, ensure that
holes are drilled in every-other
dimple.

A.) Position bottom shell over roof rack and insert u-bolt from underneath unit.
Repeat four (4) times.
B.) Place u-bolt washer over u-bolt (interior) and tighten with wing nuts.
Repeat four (4) times.

Only install the carrier with the front of the unit facing the front of the vehicle.

Hold base with
one hand and
pull lid with
the other.
Place lid on base and slide back until side hooks are secured to spindles
and front latch is secured under front lip of base.
!
Ensure locking tab is located outside of cargo area when positioning lid.
If locking tab is inside cargo area, the lid will
not slide into secured position and cannot be locked.

Rotate rear filler panel upward
until locking tab snaps into place.
Hole in locking tab provides
space for padlock (not included).

Always lock carrier during use.
A.) To open, pull back on locking tab while gently pulling
down on lanyard to unlock rear filler panel.
B.) Hold lip of base with finger tips and place palms
outer lip of lid. Squeeze to slide lid forward.
ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS
The safe load limit for this product is dependent on your vehicle’s roof load limit. Consult your owner’s manual to determine this amount.
Measure the distance from the ground to the top-most point of the carrier and use caution while driving under overhead obstructions such as bridges, tunnels, and
garage entrances.
Check ALL hardware and ensure entire unit is secure before each use. DO NOT use carrier if any component is loose or damaged.
