Dear Friends and Shorthorn Enthusiasts,
This year on December 25th marks over 50 years raising Shorthorns. It seems like only yesterday that I opened the barn
doors and found Holly and Noel, my start in the Shorthorn business. There has been many memories along the way but two
of my fondest are on the cover of this years catalog, The Margie and Lucky Charm are two of the most prominent cow families in the breed and in our program, Over the years we focused on the breeds greatest cow families but more importantly we
have focused on the great people that make this breed so great, I could fill this catalog with names of family and friends that
have helped make our program so successful. I would like to dedicate our eighth sale to my dear friend and former employer,
Zoe Dell Nutter, whose KBJ Ranch I managed for 25 plus years. As she turns 99 next year I want her to know what an
inspiration she has been to me and my family. Thank you.
I would also like to thank our partners and guest consignors for what we feel is a great offering of leading Shorthorn
genetics. My dad always said “surround yourself with good people and good things will happen”. Boy is he ever right.
Come join us Friday evening to enjoy the cattle, good food, and fellowship and then the sale on Saturday.

From birth, this heifer has been a standout! She has all the lines with the
stylish, up-headed “look” that has made her a visitors’ favorite. Her dam is

This heifer exhibits lots of power and substance and will make an
impressive cow after she is done showing. Her full sister two years ago was
Supreme Prospect Heifer at the Ohio State Fair and was a high seller and
another sister recently won her class at the Junior Nationals for Macy
Collins of Colorado. You can’t go wrong with these genetics. A big Thank
you to Nick and Jamie for all you do. It is much appreciated.

expense. Bred to Commotion; due to calve 3/14. Donor supreme! Gossip
girl is a three quarter sister to the great Sonny Girl that went on to
produce champions and sale toppers for Sullivan Farms as well as many
others. She is a nice young cow with a world of potential!
Consigned by Tom Keele and Circle H Cattle Co.
