Saturday October 12, 2013 12:30 p.m., at the farm Waynesville, Ohio Dear Friends and Shorthorn Enthusiasts, This year on December 25th marks over 50 years raising Shorthorns. It seems like only yesterday that I opened the barn doors and found Holly and Noel, my start in the Shorthorn business. There has been many memories along the way but two of my fondest are on the cover of this years catalog, The Margie and Lucky Charm are two of the most prominent cow families in the breed and in our program, Over the years we focused on the breeds greatest cow families but more importantly we have focused on the great people that make this breed so great, I could fill this catalog with names of family and friends that have helped make our program so successful. I would like to dedicate our eighth sale to my dear friend and former employer, Zoe Dell Nutter, whose KBJ Ranch I managed for 25 plus years. As she turns 99 next year I want her to know what an inspiration she has been to me and my family. Thank you. I would also like to thank our partners and guest consignors for what we feel is a great offering of leading Shorthorn genetics. My dad always said “surround yourself with good people and good things will happen”. Boy is he ever right. Come join us Friday evening to enjoy the cattle, good food, and fellowship and then the sale on Saturday. Schedule Of Events... Herdmans Kolten and Kayden Welcome!
