Hello Senior Parents! Welcome back to a brand new school year – I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful school like Bay High- my son is a Sophomore this year but I know it will happen quickly that I will also be a Senior parent before long. As many as you know parent involvement is a crucial element in the success of children, schools and communities. PTSA membership is another way to be involved and stay connected with what is going on in school. Through PTSA you are part of bigger network of parents and families just like yourselves. PTSA provides great resources not only for your child but for your entire family. By being part of PTSA you are a witness to improvements and positive changes in our school at all times. Please consider joining and being part of “more than 4 billion” other people who share in the same goal of providing a voice to every child in every school. One last thought, each year PTSA awards close to $10,000 in scholarship money to qualifying seniors. To apply for PTSA scholarship a parent and the child needs to be a member of PTSA. Please keep this in mind as you prepare for college. Please join our Bay High Parent Teacher Student Association today! A membership form can be found in this newsletter.
