BC Technology Ltd were the first Intercom provider
to receive accreditation and certification of product
endorsement from the RNIB (Royal National Institute
of the Blind) Sensory Design Services, for the range
of Vandal Resistant audio and video entry systems.
When the Disability Discrimination Act, part 3 came
into force in October 2004 BC Technology was the
only intercom company with accreditation.

Designed in collaboration with and evaluated by the
RNIB BC Technology Ltd has created stainless steel vandal
resistant door stations with the following features:
Larger easy push concave halo illuminated
call button with black border
‘Speak Now’ Green LED for hard of hearing
‘Door Open’ Red LED for hard of hearing
Braille above call button
Matt finish on stainless steel, to avoid glare
Tilt facility on colour KC system
Pan and Tilt facility on colour JA system
Pan and Tilt facility on monochrome system
Induction loop for Hard of Hearing (optional)
Speech Module(optional) up to 4 x 20 second messages or
1 x 90 second message may be recorded by the installer I.E.
"your call is being attended to please wait for a reply"
